Customer Reviews

Glazier's Steel Push Points (50-Pack) is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and useful. Just press them into the frame to hold the glass in. They are very useful to hold the glass in during the job for situations where you are not able to take the windows out and lean it back. They also add some strength to the overall fit. They are thin enough to simply push in with a screw driver. No hammer! The angled edge faces out from the window towards you. It does not behind the glass it just rests against the frame.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No good for oak frame Might work for soft woods but not on the picture frame I made using red oak. I tried a dozen of these and all but 2 bent under less pressure than needed to drive them in. I'm not even expecting them to go all the way in - just enough to hold. I picked them up in-store and came from "RF Supply" and were made in China. I have used these kinds of points before that were not this flimsy. They are a duller-looking color than the picture here so perhaps a lower grade metal is being used. I think the wood used for sashes is a softer kind of wood so it may work for that kind of work which is the other use for these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked when nothing else would! These work great! I was building a shadow box out of an old picture frame and wanted an alternative to the staples holding the glass in that it originally had. I tried a few different options and this was the only one I liked and that made the glass stay in firm. They are small enough that they would work on even very small frames. Thanks!!!
