Answer:
For me, I have a 1/8th of a gallon left after a 3X12 ft hallway, and a 15X12ft living room. Seemed like it took a lot of paint, but you get much better coverage if you use a primer first. Hoping I have enough left over to touch up blotchy areas.

Answer:
Roughly 350 square feet per gallon. A little less if it's fresh drywall. Each can of paint says its estimated coverage area somewhere on the label. Some of the specialty paints cover less than regular paint. Also, good quality paint covers better so you only need one coat. Cheap paint needs two or more coats.

Hello,
It will cover 200-300 square feet, depending on the surface you are painting. But with the EZ track technology, you will see exactly where you painted, even with white on white application. It makes painting a ceiling much easier to paint. Hope that helps! Thanks for reaching out.

Answer:
Gliddent says to shorten your showers and anything that will create moisture in the room until the pink goes away for good. They have no idea how much time it takes to resolve this issue as every case is probably different. Whatever you do, do not paint over the paint as this creates more moisture and continues to turn pink. Somehow Gladden found a way to ruin the ceiling.

Answer:
Hello! You should be fine once the paint fully cures. Usually paint needs a full 30 days to cure which explains why you are still seeing the ceiling change color.

Was considering using this paint for a house remodel. Once the paint has fully dried (months later), can I touch up any dings or wall paint that gets on the ceiling with a small area re-coat of this same product?

Answer:
I suggest a miny roller to cover blotchy areas. The product may take up to 6 months to cure in a humid area such as a bathroom with a shower.

Answer:
Hello. Thank you for your question. Using the same batch of paint to re-touch your ceilings is perfectly acceptable. You'll want to be sure to apply an even coat to the area for the optimal finish.

I used in on 680 sq vaulted, texture ceiling, and it worked perfectly. I was impressed because it was truly one-coat coverage. I don't know about pop-corn ceiling, but for my textured ceiling it was great.

Answer:
Hello Lee!
The best way to apply ceiling paint is by rolling it. For a textured ceiling, you will want to use a 1/2" nap if it is slightly textured or a 3/4" nap if it is heavily textured.
Thank you,
Christine

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 89 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worked well for me i initially bought behr paint to do my large living room ceiling and it was a disaster. The ceiling was splotchy and just awful and I'm sure partially my fault since I couldn't see where I had painted and not painted, so I decided to try the Glidden with ez tracking for a final try. Also went to a 1/2 in nap roller. Worked great, and only had to do 1 coat. April 24, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by After 3 coats, disappointing results. Save yourself from a major headache, plus the added expense of having to buy a different brand to cover up the inferior finish that Glidden ceiling paint leaves behind. Although this paint went on nicely, it didn't spatter and the "pink" system worked as advertised, the final coat was extremely blotchy. After 3 coats, I had to spend $30 per gallon on another brand to cover up the Glidden, which did so in one application. I was sorely disappointed with the results of this Glidden ceiling paint, and will not go for bargain priced paint EVER again. If you value your time and efforts, spend the extra money on a different paint. March 16, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't waste your money! Should have checked these reviews before I bought this paint. Thought it would save me some time. Didn't even finish the first coat and decided it wasn't worth the time - going to buy Behr paint, which I should have done from the start. March 20, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Awful product! I thought that this was a brilliant idea. Goes on pink so you can see what you are doing on a difficult ceiling. I was so disappointed, it rolled on horribly. I have painted many a ceilings and have never had a paint look like this! Every roll pattern was apparent after a generous amount of drying . After 3 coats and a lot of time wasted , I went back to my old reliable Behr ceiling paint and one coat is all it took. Great concept , poor product! March 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for homeowner use I really enjoyed the fact that it goes on pink and dries white. Ceilings are hard to paint and the pink makes it easier. For ceiling paint I find the quality good. Would definitely use again. February 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Brush works on popcorn I tried a roller with 1/2" nap and that did not work on this deep popcorn. Went to a brush and it was actually easier to put on. Had to move the ladder, but the outcome made it worthwhile. I like the changing color as I get lost without it. February 27, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Difficult to apply, looks terrible when dry The paint is too thick and does not flow during or after application. Constantly reloading the roller and had to paint in 2x2 foot squares to get adequate coverage - all the squares show after 2 coats of the stuff. From what I read, there is no point in repainting as it will not cover...Great. I did not have a problem with spattering or dripping because I use a roller cover. I have always used Glidden paints and have always been happy. I wish I would have read the reviews before buying. February 16, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible, Horrible, Horrible Paint Did I mention this was horrible paint to work with? Waste of time and money with this paint. If you get frustrated easily when painting do not buy this product. Paint spatters everywhere, Behr or Dutch Boy where 100% better. Second, the product was so much thicker than other paints that I used which resulted runs and marks. Third, and probably the worst trait of this paint, it continues to turn pink if you use this paint in the bathroom. Whenever we take a shower or run any kind of hot water the ceiling WILL change colors. Since, I have tried repainting this ceiling a couple times and the pink STILL shows through. I wrote Glidden and they have told me it can take a couple months for the paint to cure. If this is the case they need to right this on the table and WARN people of this. I will provide an up if this issue goes away, in the mean time I will just have to learn to enjoy my color changing ceiling. Do NOT buy. Oh, by the way, asked a HD paint consultant and they were not aware of this issue and recommend the product. After doing research on line I found this is a huge problem with the paint, unfortunately nobody knows how to remedy. January 30, 2016
