The paint worked well. I used it in my bathroom and a bedroom but I did need to use two coats for full coverage. I also used it on a textured ceiling with good coverage. The primer in this paint does not act as a sealer, it just makes the paint look better. An oil based primer is needed for fresh walls or else your walls will crack and peel.

Depending on what color you are painting over it almost covers in one coat.

We re-painted a Bedroom that had orange/red tone on all four walls. We bought the Glidden Duo Paint and Primer in one. We bought one gallon of pebble grey and one gallon of sea grey. We just weren't sure how much to buy with the walls being darker colors, (they may need more and more coats) To our surprise, the Glidden Duo Paint really did its job! We only had to paint two coats! Two walls one color and the other two walls the other color. We could have gotten away with one coat, but since we had a gallon of each, we did two. We painted eggshell over satin paint and it turned out beautiful. The whole house is glidden paint, and I will definately recommend to anyone! Thank you Glidden for making painting so easy and quick to remodel a room in one afternoon!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Brad Solids gelled up at bottom of bucket
I bought 5 gallons and the solids gelled up at the bottom, clogging our paint sprayer. The can was shaken at the store. I've had pratt and lambert in the garage for years without this problem. I think that this is a very low quality paint, probably why it is not stocked anymore.

I bought 13 gallons of this garbage. Don't do what I did. My husband and I just bought our first home and needed enough paint to paint the entire house. We bought 13 gallons of this paint in varying colors for each room. This paint in soooooooo watery it doesn't cover, and just drips and splashes horribly. You look at you wall wrong and the paint scratches and chips down to the old paint. The old paint is walmarts brand buy the way, and still looks brand new even though it's 15 years old. The old colors show through even after 3 coats. Will never buy Glidden paint again. And I am questioning Home Deopts judgement in selling such an inferior product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nb2t Excellent value and quality
I painted the entire interior of my new house with Glidden DUO paint + primer eggshell, and I loved it. I will never buy another brand again. The quality is really really great along with the price. It's only a few bucks cheaper than Behr per gallon, but it can add up when you're panting your entire home with 10-20 gallons. I just purchased the Glidden Premium Exterior Paint to do the exterior, and I'm certain it's going to look just as amazing.
I would absolutely recommend this to everyone!

this paint is garbage. I paint for a living the customer purchased this paint after i recommended Behr Ultra. The consistency is like whole milk very watery. Im on my 3rd coat and still won't cover. I can't say anything good about this "paint" its junk avoid at all costs. Use Behr Ultra instead its superior. Glidden has always been cheapo paint and always will be.

The paint allows for great coverage and dries pretty fast. We were able to do 400 sq feet in an afternoon.
