Haven't painted my humble abode since I moved in 20+ years ago and decided to paint before I installed the floor. I was really impressed with the coverage. Many walls are textured and some are flat. One coat is all it took! :) with the semi gloss I love how the light bounces off the walls. Makes everything much brighter for me. My swan white on white may be bland to some but it will be fine after I put up the wall art. ;) The room shown is about 75% finished and I just LOVE IT! ;)

I've read reviews of various paint brands and never believed that one paint would cover with one coat even though that's what marketing/advertising would say.
I decided to give the new Glidden Duo paint a try just because it was a couple dollars less and I've used Glidden before with good results. I had HD tint it to the Behr color I wanted and got home and rolled it on my large master bath. At first I could see the under coat primer, which was a flat light tobacco color, then when it completely dried, I was amazed!
I didn't need a second coat at all! I only used one (1) gallon for my entire master bath.(190 sqft), minus the ceiling, which I painted with an old pure white semi-gloss paint I had in my garage for years.
The results are GREAT! I will be buying this version of Glidden paint again!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gents Great find - from a pro painter
As a profesional painter, I typically use high end brand names like Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams. However, one job I was doing for a landlord was looking for something cheaper, but not terrible to the point where I'm always repainting inbetween tenants. After a lot of research, I gave this a try and I was suprised at how much I liked it. This is a steal for the price. Definitely will use again for other jobs who don't want to pay for top of the line paint.
Side note, don't read into peoples coverage complaints. Profesional painting standard is always 2 coats, minimum. And there is no such thing as paint is "difficult to work with." It's not the paint, it's the painter!

Really nice paint that has no odor and it doesn't splatter when you roll it on.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Nancy Horrible paint! Do not buy!
I bought this paint at the suggestion of the paint guy at Home Depot. He said it was Home Depot's top of the line paint. This was the WORST paint we've ever used, and we've been painting rooms in our house for years. The paint strangely dries very quickly so even when quickly cutting in with a brush the area you've just done clumps up and drips if you get near it again with the brush even after 30 seconds! Very frustrating. The paint we rolled on did not cover the walls well, was very clumpy and resulted in numerous drips, huge drip lines and sags and giant clumps!! AWFUL! As we rolled and went near an area that had been rolled on less than one minute earlier - the paint applied a minute ago would peel off and clump up. DO NOT BUY THIS PAINT. You will be incredibly frustrated and the finish on your walls is horrible.

First time using a paint and primer. I was a little skeptical, but a good price with a promotion, so we bought 25 gals for our new home. It went on beautifully! Smooth application, and no need for a second coat. Wanted to do a couple of accent colors, and we decided to try a less expensive paint. Huge mistake. Bought some Glidden Duo and even thought it was a very light color, it covered even the deepest 'oops' colors with one coat. I am very impressed, and will be using this product from now on!
