Customer Reviews

8-oz. Soft Suede Interior Paint Tester GLDN 29 is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do Not Try To Spray This Paint This paint will destroy your airless! I bought 60 gal. for a recent job. The trim and ceilings were sprayed but large particles of silica(?) kept hard clogging tips. Blew 2 lines and trashed a gun, hard clogs could not be cleared by reversing tip. Used 3 machines, including a Graco and Airlessco, 415, 515 tips, this paint trashed them all, left sand(?) embedded in trim. Switched to Pro-X for last 20 gal of spray, had absolutely NO clogs. Home Depot was great to refund for 15 gal of Glidden but factory rep blew me off. DO NOT USE GLIDDEN PRODUCTS!!! I put a 1 rating because you can't list a 0.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrid, horrid paint I have been DIY painting for over 20 years and, somehow, never used this paint before. Bought it this time because I liked a specific color (Candy Apple, which is a rich red). The Home Depot person asked if I wanted Glidden or Behr. I said Glidden. She looked at me curiously but I gave it no thought. I was so used to Behr and Valspar (and even Olympus) quality - paint is paint, I thought. Oh, boy... When I started painting the first coat I though it was strange that a paint can be so thin. Sure enough, it looked horrid, streaks and all. And it wasn't sticking to the wall evenly (previously painted with a flat paint), it was somewhat coagulating in a funny way - darker dots of paint with very light medium in between. I told myself - fear not, it will all go away with the second coat. It did not. So, I spend a better half of my precious Sunday, and I have even more work to do then when I started. I went back to the Home Depot and get the best and the most expensive Behr they have. It promises one coat coverage, but I am afraid I need to prime the entire room again before using it - the damage is just so bad. Please don't buy it - time is the most precious commodity.
