Hi Sony,
Any surface you apply paint to should be clean dry and have any gloss removed or dulled. You may have to sand the surface prior to painting.

Answer:
Hello,
The regular cure time as stated on label is 24 hours for light foot traffic. A few days would be good before placing a washer and dryer on it. Avoid dragging the appliances across the newly painted floor. Thanks for asking and call 1-800-GLIDDEN if you have any other more specific questions.

I will have small machinery and 300 lb work table, table saw, etc. on casters that will sometime be rolled around. Just wondering how this paint will hold up. Salesperson in store said it would work well. Is this correct?

Answer:
It’s more for normal foot traffic. If it is allowed to completely cure for at least 30 days it becomes pretty durable, but this work area seems like you may need something more like a 2 part epoxy.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The odor is a bit much, but good paint I used this over the slate floors in my house. I had to do two coats on two seperate weeks. It literally takes a good three days to dry, I guess due to the oil base. The floors turned out very nice, but the odor is alot to handle. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Porch Paint We tried other paints on our concrete porch and were so disappointed. We bought the Glidden porch paint, applied it and have been pleased with it ever since (and that's been 5 years ago!). It's extremely durable and long-wearing. The next time we paint the porch (probably this fall), it'll be with Glidden again! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] August 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good quality product We bought the deck over for our deck which was starting to look pretty rough, The floor boards were starting to crack and we were thing about replacing the deck then we read about deck over and tried it, we like the out come. Deck over covered the cracks and made the wood look good again. We bought the rough finish thinking it would help this winter when the deck gets snow on it, before it would get slippery, can't wait to see what happens. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Porch floor paint I used Glidden on my new porch floor remodel, and am still happy with the cover a wear as this porch has a high tare of traffic. This was just under a year ago. I will have to re-paint later this year only due to some items dug into the wood but overall happy with this paint. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tough as nails! I painted my wrap-around front porch with this paint and it has withstood rain, sleet, hail, cold snowy Michigan winter and has held up beautifully. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] August 1, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Strokes This paint is smooth, but thick and easy to apply.....was like painting with velvet!!! The only back draw is that it is hard to clean for some reason.... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] July 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by wonderful coverage I used this paint to cover my bedroom floor instead of carpet or tile. I love the way it turned out and it was sooo easy! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] July 18, 2016
