Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't even bother! Do you like paint that spreads unevenly and refuses to adhere to the wall well? Is it fun to attempt a simple touch up and have the original wall color appear streaking underneath? Then this paint is for you! This paint is awful. We used Valspar on a different room and had spectacular results in 2 coats. Spend the extra $ and buy real paint, not this garbage! May 3, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor coverage with white on white even after three coats: Go figure I had used some older Glidden flat white to paint our upstairs bedroom ceiling and apart from the odor, I was quite satisfied with the results. So when I needed to repaint our living room ceiling, I thought I might as well use Glidden again. Big mistake! In spite of the fact that I was using their premium white paint to paint an already white ceiling, I was somewhat perturbed to see that the coverage after the first coat was very uneven. After it had dried thoroughly, I gave the ceiling a full second coat and again, the coverage was uneven. And even after a full third coat, there were still some areas where the difference in coverage was apparent. Lesson learned. The Glidden may be roughly half the cost of my usual Valspar, but my labor is worth a lot more to me than saving $20 per gallon of paint! April 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fabulous Color & Great Finish! Considering this was my first time painting anything on my own, I was pleasantly surprised how true the color was to the color swatch and how evenly it dried. I only used one coat and the coverage was great! I would definitely use this paint again for future home décor projects! April 6, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by does not cover, more like thin white wash that is watered down I got this for a very important project. After two coats it still will not over the bare color of the new 2 x 4. It looks more like and coats like watered down white wash; not that I have every used white wash. It figures that the $9 quart of paint would do this as nothing else has worked out of the project. After all it is only a cross for a road side memorial where I almost died and my friend did last year. March 23, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This paint is as bad as Behr I swore never to buy Behr paint again because of the elastic-y dried product, and this paint is exactly the same. Yes, it is thick and goes on well, but if you have used painter's tape it pulls off in sheets with the tape if even a tiny bit has gotten on the tape. I even score the line between the tape and painted area with a razor blade, but if you miss one little bit, it does not break loose and then you end up with a hunk of paint pulled off. Because the paint it thick, it is hard to come back and do touch-up that blends in. My husband says it's almost like it had a rubber band quality to it. If you accidentally hit the dried painted area, a bigger than normal hunk slides off. January 30, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by poor coverage put three coats on and still not covered. will never use Glidden paint again!! March 11, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible I painted my bathroom before Christmas & am extremely disappointed. If you touch the walls after someone has had a shower the paint comes off. I made the mistake of hanging my towel on the towel bar & when my towel brushed the wall it took off a huge chunk of paint. Even when the walls are dry you can not even lightly wipe the wall with anything wet or the pain comes off. I'm not a professional painter but consider my self quite skilled at painting. I have NEVER had this happen before. The steam from the shower leaves water marks on the walls hours later. I used Glidden paint in my living room in 2008. My living room is extremely sunny & after all this time I can do a touch upon the wall & it blends perfectly with the old paint. I have no idea how I'm going to fix this problem, January 12, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by this is not a true FLAT paint I wanted a true FLAT finish paint.. This has a shine or mate finish. Very disappointed. Not uniform in application. Looks very uneven. I don't know why you can't just buy a good old flat paint. November 16, 2014
