I used this paint over the Glidden Gripper primer on wood cabinets. The primer went on well, but this paint took forever to dry. I painted one side of the cabinet doors one day, and painted the other side the next day. The doors were placed on cardboard to protect the finish. After one day of drying, the paint was not fully cured and stuck to the cardboard! Weather conditions during painting were warm and dry (80s with low relative humidity). The paint also went on poorly, not providing complete coverage after two coats, and it is prone to chipping. I have used the Glidden Ultra-Hide 220 in the past, and they are like night and day! Too bad the Ultra-Hide paint was discontinued; it was much better quality than this poor excuse for paint. I'm going to have to rethink using Glidden products in the future....

Love this paint, goes on smooth cover dirt, tobacco, hand prints etc. We did have to use 2 coats which was expected since it hasn't been painted in 9 yrs. I live in a townhouse and landlords use cheap paint. I always try to get best paint possible and chose Glidden. Painted living room, stair case and hall. Going back to buy another to do my kitchen. No oder, goes on smooth, no mess and rollers and brush cleaned up nicely. Can't wait till all is painted. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dawnmski Peeling off the wall!
We used to love glidden paint but the last few times the quality has been poor. This time is the worst - walls were prepped for paint and looked good when done. A bit shinier than expected with a satin finish. BUT now the paint peels off if we even touch it! Soooo disappointing - and now I have no idea if I can paint over it or have to remove it somehow?! Our bathroom was empty and now everything is back in so it will be even more difficult to paint :(

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Chief61 Easy coverage, great finish
I was surprised at how little I used to get a great coverage. Just for grins, I didn't clean any stray pencil marks off of the wall and none of them showed through at all even though some were pretty heavy. I now have about 8 more gallons in 6 different colors to do a few other rooms in my house. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We used this to paint two of our children's bedrooms (one year apart). The rooms originally had a neutral light taupe paint. Our children chose the colors--a sunny lemon yellow and a bright blue. The paint was low odor, had excellent hiding, and a smooth finish. It was also inexpensive. Our youngest child declared the rooms to be exciting (unlike the rest of the house, apparently...). I'm an amateur painter, but had no problems. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
