Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Beth Landlady, on my 3rd color with Premium Matte
To my delight the Gerbera Red went on true to color, and was easy to rework, touch ups matched, and it was streak free. Reds can be difficult due to pigment. Next a wedgewood blue showed differences between the brushed line-out and the rolled areas, always working wet on wet. Touch ups showed separation of the paint, showing a darker blue even when stirring often during the job. All of the gallon was used, and. I had to purchase a second gallon to second coat. to cover spots. A pale gray was a disaster, and I wish I could attach photos. Streaks, light and dark tones, watery and drippy even with constant stirring. The paint brushed and rolled differently, leaving two tones, the long view along the wall shows streaks of matte and light -reflecting surface. Im taking back a half gallon. I miss America's Finest before the VOC revision. It always matched on touch up and lasted in the can.

as a painter for over 20 years, i've used a lot of brands. i have always recommended Glidden to customers if they want a decent cheaper. However.....after using it due to customer purchasing already, i have changed my tune. problems?........1st, the color and finish between the brushed ares and the rolled areas are noticeably different. 2nd the paint was so thin it went on like water thus needing 3 coats. 3rd i had to back track areas to brush down and re-roll down runs. 4th the color continued to separate in the tray while being used so badly it showed on the wall. and finally wiping the wall once dried resulted in a discolored area. I have paints i refuse to use for my customers and glidden is now on that list.

When we first moved into our house it had plain white boring walls , as we cleaned them up a bit we noticed previous paint colors showing through, So we decided to paint the walls to not only add some warmth to the house we did not want to see yellow showing through , We asked the paint associate for ideas and she recommend that we use the Glidden Premium paint and primer, so we chose our shade mixed it up and proceeded to paint, It covered and went on smoothly and user friendly , If It can survive my 3 kids bumping around then it can survive anything and still look as good as the day it was painted

I just used Glidden Duo for the first time after using many other brands before, and I'm completely sold on this one. Staying under budget is really important in all of my projects, and I went into trying this brand with the impression that it would behave like a cheap paint. But I was really surprised about how great the coverage was and the smooth finish. It dried very fast too, which was great because I was able to start on coat #2 minutes after I was finished with coat #1 on my project. Best of all, it didn't stink up my whole house. This paint has no smell at all. I'll definitely be using this again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by xchica143x This product Works great and is very durable.
I've been painting my house and got 2 different kinds of paint one being Glidden. Needless to say where I used the other product the paint already started chipping and pealing after a month yet where I used the Glidden paint it looks like I just painted it yesterday. We have very rough winters where I live and for the Glidden paint to be able to withstand the weather is great. I've tried quite a few different brands and nothing can compare to the durability and low cost of Glidden.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by rumb Great paint-ability
I own multiple rental units, so I have used this paint hundreds of time. What I like best is what I call paint-ability - The ease of use and performance of the paint. Glidden paint thickness/consistency is better than the competitors and loads the roller better, and flows on the wall better.
It also cleans up very well and quickly. I always wash my roller out and it is easy to do under running water. I usually leave a sink stopper in the sink, and run the water as I wring the paint out of the roller, submerging the roller in the water as you wring. I then change drain the water and repeat several times until the roller is clean. It is easy to get the final color base out of the roller.
When loading the roller and painting, the paint is the correct consistency to load well, not drip and provide excellent coverage. Painting is very easy with this paint.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kenny1966 Good product-Competitive price
This paint is as good as the competitors for a much better price. It does have the same problem as all the other brands I've used. With paint and primer combined it is very thick and heavy and drips will easily run down the walls. For most painters this may not be much of a problem, unless you're like me and prefer to do your cut ins first.
