This is a true value priced product. I don't understand people saying it took 3 coats with this product. I found it to brush and roll great and had a very good hide to it. Well worth the money!

We just bought our first house, and needed to paint pretty much every room. At first I was a bit skeptical so we bought 2 gallons for our kitchen just to start. This stuff went on easy; EVEN GOING FROM DARK TO LIGHT, dries fast, and looks great. Two coats no matter what the base wall color is all we've had to put on. Since we have purchased 10 total gallons and have painted our entire house using Speedwall (including semi gloss for bathrooms/kitchen). Will tell everyone about this product, and will use Speedwall in the future for all interior paint needs. Now I hope they come out with an exterior paint!

I needed one gallon of white eggshell to paint 2 small bedroom closets. I saw Speedwall for half the price of the Behr paint I had been using on the bedrooms and figured it should be good enough to freshen up closets that were already painted white (but faded and dingy). WRONG!
The coverage is terrible and it streaked badly where I cut in the corners, with a good quality brush. One coat didn't even begin to cover with acceptable results, and it took twice as long as I expected. I paint a lot and take pride in a professional looking job, but these closets are an embarrassment! I'm planning to go back to the good paint and redoing them.
Bottom line: You get what you pay for. Unfortunately, I can't get my time back.

The worst paint was paint I purchased in Guatemala and this comes in a close second.I used both the eggshell (light blue) and the semi-gloss (white) over a darker blue and they both need use a third coat to make the color uniform across the walls. The paint is very thin so it does not cover well. I have been painting for over 40 years, sometimes professionally and I was willing to give this paint a try, my recommendation is that you do not unless you have the time to paint a third coat. My recommendation is to buy a more expensive paint!

I too was skeptical about this paint. It's Cheap! But i'm on a tight budget trying to open my own business, so i gave it a try with 2 gallons on recommendation by the sales girl at the paint counter. wow, 2 coats and that was all it need. this far exceeded my expectations. At half the price and just as good of coverage as I've seen from the top end paint manufactures.... this is the best paint on the market.

you know how you always need just a bit more than a gallon? with this paint, you can buy two gallons for what you would normally pay for one gallon of Behr. Granted, it is not Behr, but if you're on a tight budget or are a landlord, finally, a cheap paint that works wonders. I used a Glidden color and the man matched it perfect. And I have plenty of leftover for touchup! Key Note: I had freshly primed walls.

This product does not dry white, it has a grey tint to it.

I paint a lot of interiors, and I did 3 or 4 houses with this stuff. I found myself working much harder to get acceptable results, thus wasting a lot of time. Unless you are going over almost the same color, spend the extra on Glidden, or even Kilz pro-x, it's not bad. The speedwall also scrapes and dings super easy after its dry.
