1 gal. Speed-Wall White Flat Interior Latex Paint is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value I purchased this to topcoat my new garage interior. I applied one coat over Kilz PVA Primer using an airless with a 515 tip and I was very very pleased with the results. It went on beautifully with no back rolling required and gave an exceptionally uniform finish I am extremely pleased with. Frankly, I couldn't have asked for more from ANY paint. If owned a million dollar mansion I would never have bought this to use, but frankly if I had hired pros to paint the house and they'd used Speed-Wall, i suspect I'd have be quite happy based on the appearance. I cannot speak to durability or wash ability, of course, since I just applied it, but honestly, how often do most people scrub their walls anyway?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good paint at a great price. I had to paint a basement level of a ranch house. Half of it was a drive in garage with drywall and the other half was concrete walls - some raw concrete and some previously painted. I used 7 gallons of this and it did a fine job. It even went on to the bare concrete and looked solid and bright with just one coat. The drywall I painted over was an antique white and I had very little show through with just one coat. I don't know why people complain about this not covering as well as the more expensive stuff - if you want that then spend the money. If you want an inexpensive product to refresh a white room or utility areas then this can't be beat. I've tried the expensive self-priming white with the Behr label and I think this stuff worked better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality paint . Don't buy. So I expected that it would take more than one coat to cover the walls. I also expected that the painted walls would be easily blemished. I DIDN'T expect for the paint to come off the walls. I had painted the walls and was preparing to paint the baseboad. As I cleaned the baseboard with a TSP mixture, I noticed pink on the towel. When I wiped a spot on the wall, the paint came off down to the painted over color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for fast coverage I used this on a cardboard project where I needed to cover the wings and fuselage of a mock-up very quickly before putting on additional colors. This paint is very thick so the coverage is really solid. Also, the paint really does feel dry to the touch in about an hour if the humidity is around 50%, so you can progress pretty rapidly with the rest of your project.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from More like white wash than paint I've been gaining a lot of experience lately in the paint project department. Maybe I've been spoiled by the Behr Marquis I buy from Home Depot. I guess if you just want to do a quick freshening up it will do an ok job, (for renting apartments or selling a house) but I prefer a paint that goes on smoothly and in one coat. I don't believe this will be a long wearing paint. One wipe with a cleaning cloth has already proven to remove some of the paint. I really don't like to give less than stellar reviews, but I'm pretty disappointed. If you do plan to use it and expect some mileage out of the project, I recommend priming the walls/ceiling first then a minimum of two coats.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Kmmm review response from a Pro You probably painted matte over existing eggshell( cant do that) got to sand and should prime. No paint covers in 1 coat. I used in a large basement closet over new sheet rock, primed and 2 coats. It was nice for a cheap paint. but that's it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Speedwall is the worst brand of paint ever Runs like white wash, covers nothing. I had to put three and four coats of this product to cover a similar antique white color. Same with the semi-gloss, save time and money never buy this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome for touch ups. Love this paint, was easy to use and touch up some areas that looked kinda worn. Great for redoing a room or just touching up some spots on walls and doors. Love it.
