Answer:
when i do a house which i need a primer i always tint mine at least one shade lighter than the finish color because it really helps in spotting flaws in the sheetrock that can be fixed before the final color . and makes for a great finish . speaking for myself it works great like this

Answer:
If you are talking about the primer then no you don't want to use it as a finish coat. Its a sealer and primer but not a full covering. It will fale in 6 months if you try this.

Answer:
Hello,
You can but we recommend you use an actual interior wall paint as a top coat. A primer alone will offer very little durability and will stain easily. Check out our Americas Finest line for a great value or Glidden Premium for exceptional quality and value. Thanks!

Answer:
Sam I think I would use 123 for this project. This product seams to be good light primer. For your app I think sealing it with 123 would keep the moisture out better

Answer:
Hello Sam,
This should not be a problem. It will soak right into the substrate. The dilution with water can be done but is not necessary. Thank you for reaching out

Answer:
Hey there shearpin,
This product is not intended for the project you're working on, so I really can't speak for the efficiency of how it will work. If you are going to be going to all the trouble of putting that amount of work into the substrate, then I would remove the particle board all together as it's a less than desirable sub-floor material.

5 gal. PVA Drywall Primer is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 37.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hides it all The product was easy to spread and covered my drywall with one coat. But, I gave it a second coat to make it perfect. The price was right and it looked professional [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product! This primer works extremely well for fresh drywall. I was skeptical at first when I first started applying it with a roller as it looked like it was not going to cover well. However, when it dried, our fresh drywall was completely white and ready for paint with just one coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Drywall Primer Our condo had a fire that required new drywall on ceilings/floors. I purchased 2, 5 gallon pails of this glidden after reading poor reviews of the behr brand. This primer worked great. In 1 coat it completly covered all mudded, taped, red lined areas. After 1 hour it was dry, walls went from bare drywall to a white 1st layer you could almost live with. It looked like a white walled apartment. Buy this brand and you won't have any regrets. Now on to the Behr ultra paint....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! For the money, this is the best primer! Covered a nasty denim blue in 2 coats! Thought I'd need 5 gallons to cover an entire basement... only used 2 gallons! Would recommend this to anyone looking for cheap primer and needing to cover a lot!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product! We just painted our entire new home with this primer and are very satisfied with the results. I was unsure how this product would work since it had such a low price but I was not sorry about my choice. We used 55 gallons without any problems using a Titan paint prayer in about 7 hours. I would recommend this primer to anyone painting new drywall. It looked so good I wondered if we needed to put a top coat on it at all.
