When the light is on you can see the beautiful design of the marble, very classy light.

Overall average best describes this for us. It looks pretty good. I'm not sure that I'd classify this as a "mini" pendant though. I would also not really describe it as "oil rubbed bronze" but rather "brown". It still looks good as brown though. We really like the translucent marble that illuminates when the bulb is on. You must make sure however, that you use a full directional light bulb in order for the marble to reflect the light.
It's at least a medium pendant. The light portion of the pendant is 10" high overall and 7.5" wide at the bottom. Of the 10" light portion, from it's top down: socket coupling = 3", marble assembly = 2" and the metal shade = 5". As you can see from the photo, the fixture tapers down. The top of the marble piece starts at 2.75" tapering to 5", the metal shade continues from there tapering down to 7.5". So you have a thin rod and then, in my opinion, a hardy light, so it could be viewed a disproportionate, recognizing it's subjective. So,the ceiling canopy and first rod nipple are 3.5" tall and the light portion of the fixture is 10", then you add as many of the rods as needed for your overall application.
It comes with a total of 4 rods; 3ea 12" and 1ea 6". We are using it above our kitchen island so we use just one 12" rod. It comes with a crazy amount of wire, 18 feet! The socket is pre-wires with this long amount of wire. The rods are hollow of course, one end male thread, the other female thread and you simply feed the wire through each rod section and screw the rods together and cut the wire to the overall length you need.
It's made in china and one our ceiling canopies was dented, where the rod nipple fits so it could not hang straight. Frustrating. I called Uttermost, the supplier and they said I had to go back to HD for replacement. The sheet metal used feels decent. It would take some force to fix the dent and risk other damage so I'll just have to return it for replacement. In my opinion, it's too expensive for 'being made in china', maybe if they used less copper wire it would be less? haha Figure it comes with 42" of rod and has a 3" ceiling canopy for a total of 45", add 12" of extra wire for workability and you just need 57", round it to 60" (5ft). But they send 216" (18ft)! Just a thought.
