Customer Questions & Answers

Can you mount it to and eave like a ceiling mount

Asked by: Anonymous
Hi Debbie, This fixture must be attached to an electrical box for installation. Since the box is required under eave mounting is not possible unless a surface mount box is installed and connected to your power source. Check with your city building department to determine if this application is allowed under the local building code. Mike,

Can the motion detector be turned off but the dusk to dawn feature left on?

I don't want the motion detector only the dusk to dawn feature. I looked for one without the motion detector but they only have a cheap one$20.00 with a low rating or lights over a hundred dollars

Yes, there is a mode you can switch it to called Dusk to Dawn, which makes the light turn on at dusk and off at dawn, whether or not motion is detected.

Is there the option to disable the motion sensor feature if you don't want to use it?

Asked by: abcoast
Greetings, Thank you for the question! Yes you are able to turn the motion sensor off and have the light stay on. To do so, you need to turn the wall switch off and then back on with 2-4 seconds. This makes the light stay on. To turn the sensor back on, you would need to turn the wall switch off for ten seconds, and then back on.
