Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Jess I bought this pendant light from a week ago and tried to installed it. I'm having a hard time adjusting the electrical cord according to the height I needed, they put plastic insert between the pipe and the cord and they did not provide instruction on how to do the adjustment or any tools to adjust it.

I bought six of these (two sets of three) ; Three for my new pantry, and three for the vaulted ceiling in the Living room. Turned out to be a good choice. I love the Antique Vintage look. So do my friends (who have commented "nice light fixtures" and then are surprised when I tell them where I got them and how inexpensive they are). I installed the yellow light Edison Light bulbs for the living room, and bright white LEDs for the pantry. They're pretty to look at. The only "down side" is that the glass is very fragile so needs to be handled carefully. One (out of six) arrived with a crack. I brought it back to my local Home Depot and they replaced it immediately, no questions asked.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sparky123 Electricians Review 2 thumbs up!
after reading some reviews I was skeptical about purchasing these fixtures. I recently renovated my kitchen/dining rooms and wanted to go with a vintage style pair of pendant lights to accent my new peninsula workspace. Originally I was going to settle for a similar style in store that was more than twice the price, but after checking the shelf for 3 weeks, they did not re stock the item. I decided to give these a try.
First of all, with all pendant lights, the cord that both powers the socket and hangs the globe is always going to be bent for the first few weeks until it settles in, no matter if it's a $200 fixture or a $10 one. I always tuck extra slack in the canopy and ceiling box so if you want to lower the fixture, you don't have to buy a new wire because it was cut too short.
Second, the glass is thin. One has a slight chip on the rim, the other a hair crack on the base. If you look at the glass it almost seems hand made, something I would expect in a vintage fixture. I like it, it gives it character, which is why I purchased a vintage style fixture in the first place.
This fixture pairs well with the old style 40w bulbs to finish off the vintage look which I was looking for. These fixtures work best in a standard round ceiling box. Pancake boxes do not give you much room for extra wire to be tucked away. I am thoroughly happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone who enjoys this style of fixture for a bargain price.

I'm so happy I went with my gut and purchased these lights. We're finishing our basement and thought they'd be perfect over the bar. I was right!!!! THEY'RE AWESOME! It's perfect with the Edison bulbs and they produce just enough light. I can't express how great these lights are. Would highly recommend them.

This is a hard review to write. You see I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this pendant light, in fact I bought the 3 pack for the new house we've built! But, when my builder was putting up the third fixture, the globe broke!
Now here's the problem, Home Depot says you have to contact the Manufacturer (Globe Electric - located in Canada) to solve the problem (I want to BUY 2 more globes, that way I'll have an extra!) Over the last three week period I have called the number given three times and had to leave a voice message all three times. So far no one has called me back. Now I have 3 beautiful pendants but only 2 have globes... not sure what I'm going to do? I'm thinking I just might have to take them down and take them back to Home Depot and get something else, not really what I want to do...

Purchased these fixtures (4 of them) for a log Cabin which was built in the early 1900's for pioneers traveling west in wagon trains. These pendants are perfect for adding needed light as well as a touch of class to a sweet, historical site.

I bought these because I was going for the industrial look in my Kitchen, however I didn't feel these look very industrial. The brass finish on the top of the light and on the decorative screws is similar to a cheap old lamp and ruins the whole piece. The whole thing should be the same vintage brown color. I also hated the sphere shaped screws for the ceiling plate, they look like a mistake. Unfortunately it is very difficult to notice in the picture. Since they were so cheap (Black Friday Deal) I considered spray painting over the awful brass but decided to return them. On the positive side, they were very easy to install and seem to be decent quality.
