Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Queenie A GREAT MATCH with my victorian decor and worth the money. For installation an electrician is required.
Gorgeous product but an electrician is required to take the old broken lamp out and to replace it with a new one.

This light looks great and is simple to install. Bought two of these to replace the cheap lights the builder installed. These look great, are well made and simple to install. Just follow the instructions and installation is a breeze. Took us about 30 mins to install two of these fixtures. They accommodate cfl bulbs too. I use 100 watt equivalent cfl bulbs which provide a generous amount of light and only use 23 watts.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Rt This was a pretty good purchase.
It was a pretty good purchase. It was easy to install. I purchased two lights and discovered one was missing a screw. I was able to use a screw from the lights I was replacing so it worked out.

We replaced all of our exterior lighting fixtures with this line. (Hanging lantern out front, and the top and bottom wall mounts at the side and back.) They all look very nice and are decent sized fixtures so they make a good impact. We normally wouldn't go with white, but that color matched well with our paint scheme. We're pleased with the look and the quality of the fixtures is decent for the price.

I bought this for the front of my house because it's made of a hard plastic and it won't rust. It looks like it's metal but it is not which is great if you live in a very humid climate like I do.

Installation of the two lights I purchased wasn't a "snap", but doable even for a non-electrician.
The appearance in black was nice, but doesn't necessarily draw your eyes to it from the road as you walk or drive by. When you need to replace the light bulb, you will need to unscrew & take off (by hand) the top cover plate to do it, which will probably require a step stool or short ladder to do . Also, when installing , if you are under a gutter or overhang, you need to make sure that the top spire has the clearance so that in the future that top plate can be removed with not too much of an effort to replace the light bulb. For about fifty dollars a light, it is a good , but not a great deal. If after you receive them and you're not happy, you could always return for a refund at your local Home Depot. Throws a good amount of light at night with a 40 watt bulb. Only up for about a month, so really can't comment about longevity at this point. Nothing is perfect. Overall, 4 out of 5 stars in my opinion.

Had to purchase mounting blocks would have been nice if they were included. Mounting Blocks are on avg. 15.00 for the oversize ones you will need.
