Rated 2.8 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Attractive, reasonably well made fixture My wife and I ordered four of these track lighting kits for a large basement room that had four ceiling electrical boxes. Each track lighting kit came with two large toggle bolts that required 9/16 inch holes drilled in the ceiling drywall. This seemed like overkill since we were only going to use three bullet lights on each strip (total weight of light strip with three lights and bulbs was around 15 pounds. So I decided to use two Toggler TB toggle bolts instead. These required 5/16 inch holes to be drilled and each of the two Toggler bolts could hold five times the weight of the entire fixture. The tracks mounted easily with no difficulties and the twist lock power connectors were readily connected to the hot, neutral and ground wires in each electrical box. One of the ground wires on a twist lock power connector pulled out, however. I was able to disassemble the power connector and reterminate a crimp connection that had pulled out. This required soldering, however the repair was straightforward and the safety of the twist lock power connector was not compromised. Once the tracks were mounted on the ceiling and the power connectors were installed in the tracks, we installed the bullet cylinder lights on the tracks. This was very easy. Because all four tracks (12 lights) were on a single circuit with a 600W dimmer, we installed a 43 watt GE BR30 bulb in each bullet cylinder lamp. The finished light installation looks great and works well as the photos show. April 30, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Buy something else When I installed the system the track and electrical hookup was good. It doesn't come with the bulbs and I had to remove the black ring and pick up retaining clips on all of them. I had a hard time screwing them into the fixture. I cut my hand on the rim of one of the lights. After all the bulbs were in I put them into the track. First two easy, Second two literally fell apart in my hands. The black plastic part that fits into the tracks broke into pieces. Home Depot was great, as always, and took one of them back and ordered me a replacement. Well, two days later we wanted to move one of the lights over a few inches and it too fell apart in my hand. This is an attractive product but it isn't worth anything. I went to Home Depot and got another brand of track lighting. February 5, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Primary unit good Primary unit worked BUT when the coupling was installed the buss moved and the extension did not supply power to the light installed on it. After taking the whole system down and mvoing the buss so it maintained continuity I reinstalled so the main unit ok the connector and extension was a problem August 2, 2012
