Customer Reviews

8-Light Chandelier with Beige Fabric Shade Finished in Bali Bronze-DISCONTINUED is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Meet Warm & Contemorary I sought something different, which usually brings one to the Contemporary classification. Contemporary, usually translates to cold and/or sterile. This design breaks that cycle and the “mold” for that matter. This product offers the clean lines you seek, though the tan shades bring an inviting warm glow. I was a bit concerned about the tone of the hardware since at face-value (physical sight unseen) it reminded me of rot iron and seemed almost Gothic; however, having received the item via courier, it’s clear that the structure has been tastefully finished to match the Contemporary classification by way of the three-tiered shade design reminiscent of a city-scape. The term handsome alone doesn’t begin to describe this unit. I learned that it’s viewed best at diagonal view-points and that of the four available, three of them are hard to choose from when positioning for the main and most commonly viewed angle. Because all angles offer such different perspectives, I’ve chosen to solve the dilemma by rotating the fixture once a year and take advantage of the built-in diversity. I was apprehensive of the size and almost went for its smaller brother, but guessed that being able to view “through” and beyond the many arms of hardware would make the fixture seem smaller than its true scale. I guessed correctly and must point out that its design is so intuiting that you will find yourself staring for minutes at a time. There is depth to this product that I’ve not seen from any other design yet. Well done. Though I was able to install this by myself, I strongly recommend using two people to install this unit due to the weight and size. Like most things, it’s made in china, so you may need to do some adjusting to some of the parts. This is a small trade-off when considering that it comes 90% preassembled (only the shades to insert). The Fixture installation instructions specific to the wiring order is generic and applies to all chandeliers on the market, so you will not find something which walks you through the order of operations for this model specifically. The solution is to simply take your time (5min max) and patiently compare the fixture you just removed to the one you’re now installing, find the similarities, and you’ll be set.
