Quality control on this nice looking chandelier is lacking. The first one we ordered had several of the sockets bent way out of alignment and impossible to bend back. We also noticed the arms did not appear to line up with the holes they were supposed to be screwed to, but we did not attempt to attach them due to the other problem. Also it was pretty apparent by the condition of the packing inside the box that this particular chandelier had already been bought once and returned. We returned it to Home Depot marking the box - "Do not resell, product bent".
We ordered a second one since we had already purchased and installed the 5 light version of this chandelier in our dining room. That 5 light one had no problems and looks really nice.
The 2nd 9 light chandelier was better, but again the arms did not align with the holes they were supposed to screw to, not even close. The only solution was to disassemble the chandelier and rotate the center pole with junction box that the arms attach to. This was complicated by the way the wires were routed interfering with the required rotation. We had to cut some of the wiring and then reattach it. After doing that we were able to attach the arms, except for one, because they shorted us one of the screws.
I have emailed the manufacturer requesting the missing screw and to notify them of the alignment problems with the 9 light chandelier.
