Answer:
I would not use this in the oven, it may harm the surface. I personally use this only to clean the stove top and the drip pans. I have found that to spray a mild solution of white vinegar and water into a warm - not hot - oven, let it set a few minutes and then wipe clean. Rinse well to be sure the acid from the vinegar does not sit on the oven surface.

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to use foam spray without the strong smell of regular Goo Gone. Spray stays where you put it which is important with a gas stove. Don't want residue causing a fire because chemicals got on the gas line holes. It actually got old gunk off my ceramic top stove and in the gas oven. It removed gunk from the bottom of pots and pans as well. I did let it soak in a few minutes though. This stuff is from Goo Gone and that stuff gets rid of glue and adhesives so not surprised their de-greaser is also tops for cleaning. The smell is awesome. If you hate regular Goo Gone smell, and I do, this stuff is nothing like that. It's very lightly scented. A big plus for sensitive noses. January 9, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best stovetop cleaner I've tried I finally found a truly effective stovetop cleaner that actually does the job. I had cooked-on residue (grease, food drippings, etc.) on my gas range top, and other cleaners I tried simply couldn't cut it completely, even with a lot of elbow grease. I sprayed this Goo Gone cleaner on my stove top, waited for a few minutes to let it soak in well, and then used a non scratch pad to clean the range top. The Goo Gone did the job, with a LOT LESS scrubbing needed. My gas range top looks cleaner than it has in quite a while, nearly like new. Very satisfied with this product, & will be reordering more. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works well on minor messes I do a lot of canning and am always looking for something to clean the stove top afterwards. I was a little disappointed that it didn't clean the burners as well as I hoped - same when I attempted cleaning the stove hood. However, it did a great job on the counter tops and sinks in the kitchen and bathroom, faucets shine like new. Overall, you can't really miss with a Goo Gone product. January 7, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by this cleaner works fantastic We made a mess in the kitchen, especially on our electric stove top from cooking. I sprayed some of this product on the counters and stove top, let it sit a few seconds, and wiped away the mess. It was especially tough on grease. The only negative was that although it cleaned up the mess, it left some streaks behind. I have other products I clean with, and they don't leave streaks like this one. January 9, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Does what it's supposed to. I used this for cleaning the kitchen - primarily oven surface. I should note that I only clean it about once a month, so by then it can be pretty grimy. As advertised the foam goes on thick and stays - even on vertical surfaces, which is very nice, but also makes a small drawback - see below. It cleans up mild grease spills/splatter instantly. If there is some heavier cooked-on mess you need to let the cleaner sit a couple of minutes - then it wipes with very little elbow grease. I also liked the fact that it has almost no odor at all - no harsh chemical odor or obnoxious artificial floral odor. The only drawback to this cleaner is the fact that when you spray the foam it does not cover a large area with each squirt since it sticks in one place - like its supposed to. This means that when you are cleaning a larger area - like a stovetop - you have to use a ton of the stuff to get the whole surface. January 6, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Product was perfect for the job. The product was everything it promised to be. I have tried many similar products but have never found one that worked as well. It is quick, easy to use, and was able to remove some long-standing kitchen grease. I am happy that I ordered two of them. It is absolutely worth having on hand in the kitchen. October 15, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by regular cleaner nothing special cleans normal grease but will not remove baked on hard grease spots of any size no matter how many times you try February 24, 2014
