Can't tell you exactly but I'm 73 and no terminator and I can lift and carry it easily with one hand/arm. Weight was an important consideration since I have to maneuver around bushes near the house.

About 2 3/4' or 3'. Much wider footprint than any other ladder I have ever owned. I feel very secure going up and down. Balance is nice and feels secure. Love the 2 top wider platform steps.

I work in an Industrial site and OSHA requires that any ladders that we use are rated for Industrial use. However, many of these step ladders are only rated for home use. Is this ladder rated for industrial use?

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 108 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This is the BEST ladder! I love this ladder--it's super light, doesn't leave black marks on the floor from the feet (unlike my other 6 ft ladder)--it's just really well designed. I like that you can either stand on the top step, or you can sit a paint can on it. If you're looking for a 6 ft ladder--this is the one. July 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lightweight and versatile ladder Using this ladder to reach high shelves in my walk-in closet. Its very lightweight and easy to open and close. I am a woman of 5'4", so this is very helpful to me, and I feel very stable going all the way up to the top step. It folds up very narrow, so I can slide it into the side of my closet out of sight when I'm not using it. I wish it looked slightly less industrial for my needs, but for function it does everything I need it to. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by one of the best we have found to date like the size, height wise, very stable for its rating, comfortable rungs and safety bar June 30, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Totally Satisfied The ladder was exactly what I was looking for. Light weight and easy to move around. Also had sides for security and a shelf to hold items you were hanging or needing. June 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gorilla Ladder Great ladder for the money. Nice deep comfortable steps June 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great purchase for my projects The Aluminum Hybrid ladder by Gorilla was light for carrying as compared to my previous ladder. Great product for the price i bought it for June 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Already had the 3-step I've had the 3 step model for quite some time, love it! It's extremely light weight, therefore light duty I suppose. Saw this 4 step model at Home Depot dot com and within few days got an ad from HD offering it for $50. At that price it is an excellent value, IMO. A good value still at the $80 regular price. The 3 step goes beside the freezer and gets me near the ceiling for most jobs inside. I set this 4 step model up outside and climbed to the highest working step, the ladder felt very stable and the top rung/tray adds to my own stability while working. From there I looked comfortably down into the rain gutter on the garage, which is 8 feet up from the walkway. Could have cleaned it out easily, but it wasn't dirty. Haven't really used this ladder yet, but I'm very happy to have it. November 3, 2015
