Got this set for my grandson's Christmas present. Delivery was on time and packaging of the product was excellent. Came in 3 large boxes strapped and shrink wrapped to a pallet. Instructions were excellent, if followed step by step you should not run into any problem. Assembly took about 12-15 hours. Lots of the initial assembly can be completed on a driveway or in a garage where you have a nice even and flat surface. Most work could be completed by one person, but there are a couple of steps where some assistance is required and a helper does speed things up. Assembled unit seems solid and sturdy. I would have preferred 4x4 (instead of 2x4) posts be used for the two "swing legs", and some additional hardware or brackets to secure the slide to the tower (held by two 1-1/4" screws), but that's probably just me being a nervous grandpa! Not Christmas yet, but he is already enjoying it.

This play-set was supposed to be delivered to my house. Somewhere between the shipping company and Home Depots coordinators it was stranded at the shipping companies warehouse. I just ended up going to pick it up at the warehouse to expedite the process.
Upon opening the box we noticed that the stain was still wet. All the tags that are supposed to be attached on each part to identify it - had fallen off due to the still wet stain. Overall the parts are cheap and undersized. They take a 2x4 which is already 1.5" x 3.5" and mill it down again so it is 1" x 3" . Some holes didn't line up and several parts were so split that I didn't use them. Worst part is that they sent the wrong hardware kit. It took weeks for Homedepot and the manufacture to ship me the correct hardware. We ended up just purchasing the right nuts and bolts from the local hardware store for $75 bucks or so. When I told home depot about this promised to send gift cards for the inconvenience - never happened. For $1000 dollar play-set, you would expect more. We have had this for over a year now and most of the stain has washed off in the weather. This is the 2nd or 3rd time Ive tried to post this review but Homedepot will not post it.....

This Gorilla playset is of good quality and while the instructions were adequate, it had a few minor glitches but not a big deal. Some of the t- nuts were in the wrong place but it's a quick fix. It took about 5 hours to assemble with help.

For this price range, the Gorilla play set is a great value. Wood pieces are large and solid and the assembled system is very sturdy. Only bad comment is that all the labels on the wood fell off so it took some pre assembly organization to be efficient. With one additional person, I assembled the entire set in one day.
