Answer:
The Timber Shield coating does cut down on the amount of oil-based sealant needed on the overall set; however, we recommend using the sealant on all other exposed wooden pieces. Thanks for your question!

Answer:
Yes, you can switch of the swing or trapeze bar for a glider swing. While of course, we would love you to purchase our Tandem Swing by Gorilla Playsets, as long as the swing attaches to the swing set securely, any glider swing can be used. Thanks for the question!

Answer:
We recommend installing your swing set on reasonably level ground. Detailed instructions for leveling your swing set are included in the manual. You will need to dig a channel away from the high side of your swing set in order for the set to sit level on the lower side of the grade. If you require a channel depth of more than 6”, then we recommend you have your play set area professionally graded before Read More

Yes, the fort is 4 ft x 6 ft, not inches. Thanks for catching that typo - the information should be corrected soon. Thanks for your question!

Customer Reviews

Rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Ordered this item after doing a lot of research. What I found is that the Playsets with 5 foot decks are sturdier and will last much longer than those with 4 foot decks. Also, kids will enjoy the 5 foot deck until the age of 10 or so. The item arrived via freight delivery. Be prepared to assist the driver with unloading the boxes. They can be very heavy and bulky. After items arrived I inventoried each piece and separated them according to size. That made it much easier when looking for a particular piece during assembly. Assembly took me 20 hours, five hours per day over four days. I did the assembly entirely by myself. There are a couple of times when you really need a second person (like installing the swing boom), but I'm stubborn and did it myself. I recommend that you have a very good drill driver. I used my ridgid driver and it worked great. 99% of the pieces are pre-drilled which helps a great deal. The cedar is milled very nicely and of good quality. I would not hesitate to order this again. I enjoyed assembling it. I also bought from Home Depot because of their solid reputation. January 2, 2016
