This playset is made from very high quality wood and my two daughters absolutely love it. The only drawback is our backyard has now become the gathering place for all of the kids in the neighborhood.
It is not too big, so it fits well in a compact backyard space. I hired a handyman to assemble it for me, and it took him around 10 hours to finish. Best $300 I ever spent. The assembly manual is 83 pages long, but very detailed.
I would definitely recommend the Gorilla playsets. They are worth the money.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BirderfromDavis Super strong great kit and kids love it
Excellent instructions. Great set. Instructions comprehensive except had to download chimney instructions from Gorilla website. Took 1.5 days with me and few hours from another person. Be prepared to drill a few holes for lag screws as described in instructions. Also get a power screwdriver and extra batteries. Sturdy and kids from 1.5 to 11 have already loved it and tested it out.

Well made and sturdy. A little smaller than I had expected but adequate for my Grandchildrens age. The assembly definitely requires two people and it has some quirks in the instructions that add to the time and difficulty. Setting up the cornerposts is the most difficult part because the instructions are not clear. Once that is done it is pretty straight forward. Just an FYI, I work in manufacturing and teach blueprint reading so I know how to read and apply instructions. However, I still managed to get two of the corner posts 180° out. After I got that fixed everything fit perfectly. It took two of us about 14 hours and I still have some of the gingerbread to put on. It's 105° so I will wait till fall to finish. Buy one - your kids will love it and they will have years of fun.

Our kids are in love with their new playscape! My husband & father in law put it together in one afternoon. They were impressed with the detailed instructions that make it easy to put together. It has quickly became the highlight of our get togethers!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tgravo2 Very pleased!!!
I searched everywhere for a quality set that wasn't $2000 or more. So happy I went with this gorilla set. Very few sets are all 4x4 supports and has a 4x6 support beam for the swings. This thing is solid. I spent 2 days staining it for extra protection and 3 more days for installation by myself. It was a pretty easy job just took a while. Only a couple of pieces didn't fit how I would have liked. Mainly the windows and dormers were not fitting based on the instructions and I had to modify them myself. All pieces were there and the hardware is solid. I had about 100 extra screws and lag bolts left over!!! Trust me I didn't skip a place where a screw went and even put a few extras in spots. Overall we love it!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Midwestdad Customer service horrible
The playset is great. Very sturdy, well designed, and building plans were well organized and easy to follow. Appears this play set will withstand the harsh elements of the Midwest. However, there were a few missing parts and after five separate contacts to the company I've yet to receive them. Home Depot was great and assisted with the efforts yet still no parts. Gorilla playset continually transfer me to answering machines and I never receive call backs. Luckily the parts are brackets and not something major or I would have returned it by now! If you buy this keep your fingers crossed and hope you get all the parts. Horrible customer service!

We purchased this swing set for my 3 year old and 1 year old. It took two weekends to complete, but was well worth it. I had thought about buying a much cheaper set through Walmart- but decided on buying this one because of the heavy duty 4x6 swing beam. (Many of the Walmart ones only have a 2x4 swing beam) I wanted to be able to swing with my sons and know that it would be sturdy enough to support all of us. I also bought the infant swing as an extra. The directions were excellent and easy to follow. The only thing that the shipping (ups frieght) called to schedule delivery on one day- but then realized it wasn't in their facility. So my husband ended up taking 2 days off of work so it could be delivered. (I don't believe this to be the manufacturers responsibility)and we had to buy 3 extra boxes of wood screws which was a good 20-30$ extra. I didn't mind because all the pieces were there and clearly marked. (Some cheaper brands you have to mark and sort yourself) these have parts with stapled pieces identifying what each piece is. Overall, a great set with many years of enjoyment for my sons!
