So I want to start by saying that our kids really love this playset. It's designed well, it's really sturdy, and the variety of activities are a real bonus. I'm glad we bought it. But getting to this point was a little frustrating. When we ordered it, we got a call about a week later from the manufacturer saying that they didn't have the canopies in stock and asked if it would be all right if they shipped the playset without the canopy and then sent the canopy later. I agreed, although it seemed a little weird (when we received the playset, the canopy was there after all). I got a call a few days later from the shipping company to schedule a delivery date and drop-off time for the playset. I took a couple days off from work to receive it and start building. When our delivery time came and went, I called the trucking company's help number and found that they basically forgot to deliver it and it was sitting in the nearest warehouse. After a huge headache, I finally got it delivered late in the day. Unfortunately, one of the main center posts was missing from the playset. Since I took the days off and didn't want to wait for the company to send it who knows how much later, we went to Home Depot and bought a 4x4 to use. Now one of our center posts is a different color from the rest of our playset. The playset wasn't as hard to build as some of the other reviews indicate. My wife and I built it in two days, and it was really hot outside so we didn't really push it too hard. The instructions were pretty easy to follow (until toward the end, when it was funny to see what seemed like the writer getting bored - for example, they started just saying "use a screw and washer" instead of which sizes to use), and my only complaint was that the hardware was just kind of thrown together in random bags and not labeled or arranged in any sort of way that made any sense. I was hoping for the kind of hardware that's in bags together, like "This is bolt A and this is washer C." I do agree with some of the other reviewers who said that for this amount of money, they could have pre-assembled the rope ladder. Come on guys. So I recommend this playset once it's all done, but cross your fingers with delivery and hoping all of the parts are there.

This was a labored purchase. I took my time looking and trying to find the perfect swing set for my girls. I looked everywhere online and local builders. My kids absolutely love it! It took my husband and my dad two full 8 hour days to put it together and it was a challenge. Luckily my father is a skilled carpenter. I would rate this high on the assembly difficulty scale. Every single piece had to be assembled but all the pieces were labeled, precut and holes predrilled. I love the openness of the bottom and the tire swing is such a cool feature. It is low to the ground but swings and spins well enough to suit my 6 year olds. We will have to wait to see how it holds up to the elements and especially the winter but for now we are extremely happy. The price was a bit high for something we had to put together ourselves but delivery was prompt and like I said, luckily I had a skilled builder to help put it up.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by nbaker75 Good Product - Home Depot delivery could have been better
Product arrived on time, but the driver that Home Depot sent was alone and was expected to unload large boxes by himself. My wife, who has a bad back, had to help him unload the boxes. Not his fault. Bad execution and planning by Home Depot.
Also the cover tarp was not delivered. They had to send that to me seperately. Home Depot did not tell us this. Only discovered this as we were putting together.
Product was done over 1.5 days with 2 people. Just follow instructions and use the pictures as a guide and you will be OK. Was disappointed that you had to assemble the rope ladder. Seemed to me they should have had that already done for you. All they give you is 3 rope and some pieces of wood and make you put it together and tie all the knots correctly. For what you pay I don't think it is much to ask to have them pre-assemble that for you.
Quality of product seems good overall. Will see how it hold up over time.
