I dropped my necklace down the sink and it got stuck over this metal stick that is in the middle. It was to far down to reach and I couldnt do the opening up the pipe trick ( and i really didnt want to) because it wasn't all the way at the bottom. I searched for this type tool and all i was finding was 20 dollar ones. I found this one at home depot for only 5 dollars and its AMAZING! it has a lot of grasp power and i was able to get my necklace out of there in less than two minutes. This is such a handy tool to keep at the house when stuff like this happens.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Katy Seriously, if you've a drain, worth the money!
The kids pulled out the stopper and either on purpose or accidentally dropped in a toothbrush, which I didn't realize was down there (I thought it just missing) until there started to be clogs from gunk building up on it. Couldn't get the nut to turn on the trap to get it out but my husband suggested geting this tool instead of trying to cut off the trap.
Worked like a charm and for so cheap! Also found quarter and pulled out a clot of hair (ew). Now the pipe drains fine, the stopper replaced, and the toothbrush disposed of without me having to touch it or any of the other stuff pulled out. Great little tool!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LeeG Fantastic Value, Works Great. Love this Tool.
Similar tools cost at least three times as much. I was skeptical but hopeful - I had dropped something down my bathroom sink while trying to clean it out and feared a large bill from calling a plumber to fix my stupid mistake. Instead, the Easy Grabber saved me and I'll always be grateful. I was shocked at how well it worked. It is long, strong and flexible. Best of all, the little prongs that emerge to grab the object are very strong, and clench tightly around the object and hold onto it. The Grabber should be in the Museum of Modern Art for great design. I love this thing.

I don't know what else I could've used to retrieve a toothpaste cap I dropped down the sink. Maybe some chewed bubblegum on the end of a very long pencil. I'm going to send an extra $5 to the manufacturer.

Does just what it sounds like.
Used it to get a stuck pencil out of the toilet bowl drain neck.
Would have liked it to be longer to get to the clog. I had to remove the toilet and get to it from the bottom.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Rich A tool everyone should have.
This tool comes in when you can't get your fingers close enough to grab something. It will save you bruised knuckles for sure from trying to reach the unreachable.
