I have a graco pro 7 paint sprayer with a sg1 spray gun. Does it have an in handle filter?

I removed the handle and there is a blue tip sticking out attached to a spring. on the other end that screws into the gun has another spring and a small ball bearing. Does the blue tab supposed to pull out?
On the end with the spring and ball bearing how does it go back together? Does the ball bearing go into the handle and then the spring or vice versa? Any help would be appreciated. The sprayer has been used. Thanks

Hi vet 1711,
The blue tip is the end of the in-handle gun filter. You can remove the filter from the spray gun by pulling on the tab. The filter can be taken apart and put together by screwing the spring into the filter screen.
Please inspect the filter and make sure it is clean and has a complete o-ring. If you need to replace the filter you can visit any Home Depot Special Services Desk and Special Read More

Answer:
Hello Vet 1711,
The blue tab sticking out of your Graco spray gun is the tip of the in-handle screen.
It is designed to be remove, cleaned, and re-used ... or replaced.
Take your gun to The Home Depot and ask your Paint Associate for the replacement filter.
The Home Depot also sells replacement spray tips as well as spray guns.
