This is the first paint sprayer we have owned. We bought it to paint the exterior trim of our ranch style house. While the sprayer uses a little more paint than a brush and roller, the real savings come in time saved on the job. It took about 20 minutes to prime a set of french doors, a 4 pane window and the eaves of one side of the house. Its the happiest I've seen my wife on a do it yourself home job in a long time! Probably would have been 2-3 hours with a brush and roller and this machine did it effortlessly. I'd go as far as saying that the clean up time was probably longer than the paint/set up time, even using the Powerflush system. Make sure you buy the Pump Armor or a have a can of Paint Thinner/Mineral Spirits handy to re-prime the machine with after you have cleaned it up. This will help stop the pump rusting/seizing between uses. There was no Pump Armor supplied with our unit, which was surprising for a $900 sprayer.

This is a workhorse. While the specs say 1500 gallons/per year, I am able to get about 4000 gallons/per year and it still keeps going. Priced so that you can work it until it dies and simply buy another one. Easy to use, easy to clean, a great bargain. I have used the high-priced sprayers and this one compares nicely.

Our previous sprayer broke down and we needed another in a hurry. This is one step up from the one we had. We have a custom cabinet shop are painting all the time. It was supposed to come with a instructional DVD and quick start up guide but it wasn't in the box. Other than that we love it. Keep the filter and tips clean and it should work for many years.

Graco has once again made another customer happy. The quality of work performed by the 210 Es couldn't be better. It is very efficient in the amount of time it saves you. I paint for a living and this has by far paid for itself over and over again. I love all the extra attachments you can purchase seperately which also saves time. This machine should last years upon years, especially if you keep it clean after each use. Thanks again Home Depot for the fast, free shipping!

Purchased the Graco 210ES to replace a now defunct Campbell Hausfeld .5 hp. I was attracted by the 5 star ratings, the fact that the pump starts on demand once the gun trigger is pressed, and the fact that the the filter is in a separate housing, which is easily accessible using a large knob. Another attractive feature was the hose hook up to the intake hose for easy clean-up.
When I opened the box I was surprised to find out that there was no assembly required other than to hook-up the hose and the gun... voila... presto, ready to inmerse the intake and return hoses into the paint bucket and start painting. After ensuring that the electricity was on by looking at the lighted plug, turned the unit on... nothing. Turned up the pressure just a tat and bingo, the piston started up and down for just a brief second. Wow, what a pleasure to hear the pump on only when pressure is needed. Let go off the trigger the pump rests... I know, I know, that's what's advertised. But, mine oh mine... one thing is to read about it and another is to experience it. This unit is way better than the one it replaced. Granted is was a bit more $$$, but the increased pressure, noise reduction and overall ease of clean-up, is well worth the extra money. This sprayer exhuberates good craftmanship. From the stainless steel frame, to the quality of the rich blue hose, which is more flexible than the hard black plastic of my previous sprayer. The Graco 210 may be an overkill for me, as it is advertised for daily use, and I only intend to paint my three story home, along with its three decks, and the fence ... that's it. No other contracting, or additional painting. However, I feel that this unit should stand to immediagt task and for subsequent paintings in the years to come, making it a pleasure to do the job.
One last comment, I compared this unit to others also made by Graco and sold at Kelly Moore paints, I guess for professional painters. I could not see much difference in the specifications. However, there was a vast difference in the price.
If you can afford to spend a little more, are the type of person that takes care and pride of your tools, go for the gusto.
