It was time to paint my house again and all the estimates I received were in the $4-5,000.00 range. I decided that I would, once again, do it myself, but that I was going to invest in an airless sprayer. After looking at all the sprayers on the market, and reading countless reviews, I decided on the Graco X7 Pro. My choice was perfect! The sprayer operates flawlessly and I painted the first coat on my 4,000+ square foot house (lots of garages) in less than 10 hours. While it needs a second coat (that's today's job), the first coat looks great and went on much easier than with a compressed air spray system or a brush. I found that I actually needed to lower the pressure from the manual's directions to get the best application, so start al little lower then they recommend, but aside from that I followed the manufacturer's instructions precisely. Clean-up is a bit of work, but not too bad. I can see this sprayer getting a lot of work in the future. No more brushes and rollers for me!

I had some serious apprehension about purchasing a $500 painting unit without knowing whether or not I would be satisfied with the function of the unit. When I found out I could return no questions asked, I went for it. Let me tell you... The Graco Rocks! I have owned two Wagner's in the past, the Graco Airless is hands down the best. I painted my entire house in two days. I would advise the potential buyer on three things. One, make sure you use the correct spray tip for the job. Two, clean it thoroughly and store it properly. Three, Make sure you look at the instructional video and online technical guides. This will help you enormously. Happy painting!

I am staining the exterior of a log home. I initially started with a 6" brush and quickly realized what I was up against, so I ordered this sprayer. 300 sq. ft. took me 5 hours with a brush. This sprayer took that time down to approx. 2 hours. That included clean-up time, and my learning curve. It primes easy, cleans up easy, and covers excellent. The only thing that would make paint sprayers even more awesome was if they incorporated an automatic stirrer.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by FastEddie This airless system is great. Should have purchased years ago
Had approximately 15 pieces of patio furniture. Painted them all in less than hour. Cleanup was easy. There numerious video's on YouTube which cover the setup, priming, painting, cleanup and storage. Spraying provides a much more even smooth finish than painting with a brush. Cleanup and storage is realitive easy. TIP I got from an experienced user is to wash and flush the system with a mixture of Hand Soap and Water. Do a final flush with water and then layup the pump per the directions in the manual with the pump storage solution provided in the box. You can select a variety of Tips for the spray gun to address the paint application rate and the material you are applying.

After making the mistake of purchasing the Harbor Freight Krause and Becker Airless paint sprayer and having to battle with the unit for 4 hours to paint one 18' x 36' room, I decided to pony up and spend a little more for quality so I went with the Graco ProX7.
The Pros of the ProX7 over the X7 are 50ft cord and SG3 gun and power flush attachment. Flushing the sprayer out of the box is easy and straight forward, comes with an easy guide and DVD as well! Priming the paint is just as easy. Make sure you always filter a your paint before spraying it saves a lot of headaches from clogs. I ended up purchasing a 413 tip in addition to the one the kit includes and I didn't even need to use it. Make sure you follow the instructions on cleaning the system after each use and this unit should last at least 300 working hours.
So far I have about 5 hours of use without any problems or hiccups. I am in the process of spraying a 2000sqft house and got 3 bedrooms and some missed corners done in 2.5 hours. Never rolling again. I read a few nightmare reviews and I have to say from personal experience this sprayer is the best bang for your buck. And has given me zero problems.

I purchased the ProX7 because of all the positive reveiws and because a friend highly recommended it. The next day we commenced painting our new house additon of 1100 sq ft. The ceiling and wall space combined came to 3800 sq ft. We watched the excellent video twice and and after that it only took a total of 12 hours for my boys and I to apply two coats of latex. I had never painted with a sprayer before and still it turned out better then I ever imagined. This paint sprayer is everything the reviews said it was and then some. I was surprised how easy it was to operate even when we had to purge the system when changing colors. These machines are not cheap but they are worth every penny you spend. Two Thumbs Up!

Easy to set up and clean. Sprays a perfect coat. If only they had a tool for prepping things to be painted.
