Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 After painting 2 apartments, really like it
I can't compare this to anything but cheapo sprayers. Bought it for apartment maintenance. We've painted 2 apartments so far and have found this to be easy to use, easy to clean, and, in general, a well made product that does a good job. That's rare!
My only criticism is that it comes with a sprayer tip that's really not optimal. This sprayer is powerful enough to use a 12" wide spray pattern (what most professionals opt for), but you'd have to buy that tip separately for $22 or so. The one that comes with it works fine, but does not take advantage of the extra power of this vs the lower models.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Buckthornridge Excellent...But check the contents!!!
Used this sprayer to add to my contracting collection to spray new construction houses and exterior staining projects. Worked excellent with numerous attachments available to meet the specifics of my job, The machine, wand, spray tip, and gun work flawlessly. Always clean out the screens and flush this equipment appropriately - it will last for a long time.
One word of caution...Check the box for all the components before leaving the store. Graco paint sprayer products are one of the most stolen from HD stores. When I delivered the "unopened" box to the job site, I found that I had no hose, no gun, and no spray tip - they were all pilfered from the box prior to my purchase. I returned the unit with no hassles at all from the pro service desk for a fully complete unit...Like I said, check the contents before walking out of the store. Take Care...

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HouseofRentals Should Have Bought it Sooner
My family owns several rental properties and we had become tired of using rollers and brushes. I purchased a used Graco X5 and thought it was a dream at the time. After a year, that sprayer died in the middle of a job, so I decided I would get a X7. My brother convinced me to get an X9, and I have to say, no disappoint. I wish I had purchased the X9 from the start.
My only complaint is that cleanup can be a messy while pulling the inlet tube from the paint bucket to the water or hose, but that is a minor issue compared to the speed and quality of this sprayer.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ioerror001 Great paint sprayer
Cheaper than the competition. This was my first paint sprayer purchase. Glad I went with the pro x9 instead of the 7 model. The pump shuts off so your not listening to the noise the whole time. Sprayed a whole house (900sq ft) in literally 1.5hours. Spent forever it seemed prepping covering windows etc. But it was well worth it. I loathe painting and now I can't wait for my next project. I hope this thing works this well from here on out .... if so it's my new favorite tool.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JCMBCABINETS easy to use with nice features
This sprayer instantly made me a better painter because of it's pressure control. I spray paint and poly. I constantly struggled to get a good pattern with my old unit, but it has been a breeze with this one. The garden hose attachment for cleaning is incredible! Great sprayer with enough power to run 150 feet of hose. Made in U.S.A.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RHoneers Upgraded to the PROX9 from the smaller unit to handle silicone roofing material (GacoRoof)
I had to roll 40 Gallons of thick goop on a geodesic dome that is over 40 years old with a previous silicone roof. I used a Graco Magnum ProX9 Airless Paint Sprayer, feeding a roller, so I would not have to balance a tray. The GacoRoof is too viscous to spray at 3000 PSI but it rolled on nice once I drilled out the orifice to 3/32" on the roller frame. The ProX9 was able to pump good volume of the thick silicon rubber roofing through 50 feet of hose, 30 feet up. Rolled on two coats in two days tethered to the top of the dome with just the roller and one extension in hand and the hose trailing down to the ProX9 pumping from the 5 gal buckets.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by javiert does it work? Is it worth it?
I was skeptical on spending this money and winding up with something that didn't do what i had hoped for;however, when i received the product and tried it ,it worked great. Now i look around for more projects that this would make a pleasure of. I may start my own business with this. Ps. If you haven't guessed, i love it....just take your time getting to know how to handle the sprayer. Pay attention to the video on how to spray and you should do fine. Practicing with water helps.
