We do remodel and restoration projects and have a couple of airless and HVLP sprayers. We have had this gun for over a year and love it. It is great for small projects, accent walls and trim work. It is easy to clean and fast to set up. We have sprayed interior and exterior water based primers and paints through it using different tips with no problems. The 2 painting contractors we use also use this gun. I would definitely recommend it.

This is a great machine and a very professional spray gun. I have used this big jobs and small jobs and it always works great. It should come with the 311 tip. The 515 tip is comes with is almost too much for it. Sure, if you are painting a big wall, the 515 tip is fine, but you are probably going to use the machine for painting trim, front doors, or cabinet interiors where the 515 is too much.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by kurt good for smaller jobs where I don't need my full size airless
took a few minutes to get use to it. It'll lay down a lot of paint quickly. Need to order other tips for smaller jobs, HD should carry other tips but doesn't. Clean up is fairly quick and easy.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Len Poor Tip Selection
Does not come with tip for trim work! Only comes with a 10" tip, which is great for painting a shed, but you will use way too much paint trying to paint railings etc. Bought specifically to use as trim sprayer for house. When I looked at store for tip, found that they were only available online, with only two narrow tips to choose from, and only one narrow tip appropriate for latex paints. (According to Graco) Larger sprayer with better tip selection has much better control for trim. A sprayer that is billed as great for small projects should come with appropriate tip size. Works well enough, however for small jobs.

What can I say. This is a super convenient airless paint sprayer making home projects that much easier to complete. This sprayer could not be easier to clean, just add your cleaning medium and reverse the nozzle.
The unit is a little heavy but manageable. The cord length is not long enough where you will not need an extension cord but long enough to move the connection far enough away from the gun so it will not interfere on a ladder or something like that.
The case is nicely made and it properly supports the gun. Check out youtube which has good videos of the gun in action.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Texas Professional quality, for commercial and residential use
If you hire a painter, then 99% of the time they are going to turn up with a Graco brand paint sprayer. This is the brand the professional use and trust, and now its available in a form factor and price point for the home user to use.
Anyone who has used a handheld sprayer before might be excused for thinking this is just another cheap plastic sprayer, but far from it. This is metal construction, whilst still be light weight, and uses professional quality spray nozzles. It has a very flashy metallic blue finish.
My neighbor is a painting contractor and uses one of these every day (he use the battery model). He has estimated he has run 50 gallons of paint through his without a problem. I've only run 2 quarts, but I'm happy to know it will be ready to use the next time I have a paint job.
A few tips. Follow the manufacturers advice and clean the sprayer thoroughly after use. Also, they provide disposable paint can liners, but these can be hard on the pump, so skip them and just clean the paint tub thoroughly after each use. Also, use the provided 'Pump Armor' after use and before storage, it protects the airless paint sprayer pump while in storage, as it helps protect your pump against freezing and corrosion when not in use.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by hpiguy Quality Spray Gun for DIY and Pro Users
Graco's Truecoat Pro II Airless Corded Sprayer works as well for the novice painter as it does for the person with numerous jobs under their belt.
When you're looking for an airless sprayer that can be repaired easily, has numerous tips available, and can spray at sharp angles, the Truecoat II Pro can't be beat.
I own another airless sprayer, and while it's a quality machine, you can definitely feel the difference between the two tools from the get go. You get what you pay for with the Graco.
WHAT'S IN THE BOX? You'll get everything you need to start painting with this kit, just buy some paint and get to work in no time.
A) Hard plastic carrying case. Fits everything you need and holds it secure.
B) Attractive metallic blue sprayer with 15 foot power cord.
C) User Guide DVD and owners manual and registration packet
D) 32oz Paint cup and lid
E) Pump Protector fluid bottle
F) Five disposable paint cup liners
Simply clean out the pump protector that's in the gun from the factory per the directions and you're ready to start spraying.
Paint prep is easy, all you'll want to do is filter it to remove any big chunks of pigment and pour it right into the cup. No thinning needed!
Depending on the material you're spraying follow the directions provided by Graco as to the pressure number to set the gun to and you can't go wrong. The pressure dial is easy to turn, has large marked numbers and a good sized knob so you can use it with a paint suit and gloves on.
The paint intake hose is very flexible and has a large weight on it, allowing you to spray above your head or below your waist without losing suction in the paint cup. Priming the gun and getting it to start spraying is easy with the pressure let-off lever.
My favorite feature is the easy clean-out paint tip. If you do happen to get a clog for some reason, just flip the lever on the tip around, hit the trigger and it expels the clog instantly. You don't have to tear the gun apart to clean clogs. Wonderful!
Storage is made easier with the pump protector fluid. Clean the gun and tip using the appropriate cleaner for your paint type. Water for latex, or mineral spirits for oil based paints. When done, use the pump protector fluid as directed and you're gun will stay clog free and ready to go next time you want to paint.
Tips, parts, extra pump fluid and accessories are available from Home Depot online and in many stores.
You can depend on this sprayer to deliver a quality coat with any material you want to spray. I sprayed a cinder block wall and even on that rough surface I got a clean and drip free coat on each brick. I'm very happy with this sprayer. And best of all, you don't have to thin the paint first (Yes, I said that twice).
Don't be intimidated by spray jobs any longer, this Graco gun makes it easy.
