Customer Questions & Answers

Is this paper actually white or off-white? Thank you.

Asked by: Ginny
It is not bright white but it is designed to be painted. I would not leave it unpainted. It is rather soft.. designed I would guess to absorb paint! After time it would be difficult to clean.

How many rolls does it take to do a bedroom
Asked by: summer34
Sorry, but I'm afraid you must measure and plan carefully. I believe these rolls are about 33 feet long. you must figure how many ceiling-to-floor pieces from a roll at 20 1/2 inches wide. The wallpaper gets about 1/4 inch wider when placed on the wall. If you find this level of detail beyond you, get someone else to to this job...

We've used it in two rooms now. It is easy to hang, though we found it difficult to cut the paper against a "popcorn" ceiling. Would strongly recommend painting the wallpaper as the paint really helps to hide the seams. There was a short moment of panic when the wallpaper started to "bubble up" a bit immediately after painting but all bubbles disappeared after the paint dried. Also, we found that a darker paint color really makes this wallpaper look quite elegant though it required two coats to make sure there were no small (pinprick sized) white spots left. I'm very glad we purchased it and will use it whenever we find the finish of the walls in our 1970's built home is inadequately smooth for direct painting.

I applied over mobile home walls and primed with Zinsser 123 first and had prepped joints from removed wall strips very carefully. Bonded well and was moveable as placed on wall. Because of deep texture I used a brush to paint and needed plenty of paint. It soaks it up. Looks great when completed and transformed room!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value - Fantastic Look! I recently remodeled a bathroom where I removed the existing wall covering and had some areas that all of the original wall paper did not come off. Since I could peel it off, it stayed. I cut the this product to the desired lengths and applied the wallpaper adhesive. The wall covering went on the wall easily and the texture of the linen made the joints virtually disappear. After allowing it to dry 24 hours, I applied 2 coats of paint and it looks remarkable. It looks perfectly smooth, none of the left over wall paper telegraphed through. Buy this product if you want a smooth unique wall finish. Bj

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent way to take the easy way out I tore down wallpaper in a bathroom and discovered an absolute mess underneath. I'm so happy I found this solution. I used a primer first, made for damaged walls, and the wallpaper went up without a hitch. My seams are imperfect but you hardly notice after I painted it. My first time doing anything like this, I am pleased with my remodeled bathroom!
