The Grape Solar 10,000 Watt Monocrystalline Grid-Tied Solar Power Kit can generate between 7,200kWh and 16,800kWh of electricity per year. This works out to roughly two thirds to three quarters of the electrical power consumption of an average 2,400 sq ft. home. Unlike other power generators, there are no mechanical moving components; therefore, maintenance is virtually non-existent. The kit consists of high efficiency Grape Solar 250 Watt Monocrystalline panels, 2 Kaco String Inverters and 2 combiner boxes.

What else would we have to buy for completion of our off the grid house? How long would Home Depot allow payments 0% on $22,500? Could individual have 5yrs to pay off?

Our solar panel kits include the panels, inverter(s) and combiner box. Balance of System components that generally need to be selected based on site specific needs and or local requirements, such as cables, junction boxes, fuses/breakers, etc are not included in the kit.

For maximum flexibility, we sell the racking as a separate kit based on system size and roof type. Direct Mount Racking Kits (ideal for most residential roof types) are designed for the panels to be laid out in Portrait orientation and contain rails, end clamps, mid clamps, grounding clips, grounding lugs, L-Feet and attachment hardware appropriate for the roof type. In addition to the components listed above, our tilt kits (for roofs with little or no slope) also include tilt legs and are designed for the panels to be laid out in landscape orientation in multiple panel arrays of 1 column by 2 rows. As long as a small portion of the panel is exposed to sunlight, the panel will operate and generate heat which will melt the snow and allow it to slide off. The steeper the panel pitch, the quicker the snow will slide off. In heavy snow, you may need to either wait for the snow to melt off on its own or use a telescoping Read More
