It will but the more batteries you have the longer it will take for charging. The formula is : The inverter determine how big a load you can power. The battery(s) determine how long you can run that load. And the panel(s) determine how long it takes to recharge the system after use.

The 100 watt panel will charge a 6 amps per hour for 6 to 8 hours per day ANY 12 volt platform but the larger the platform, the longer it would take to get a full charge. I recomend 2 amp hours of battery for ever watt of charging solar panel. The batteries must be wired in paralell to make the Voltage 12 volts on the platform If you want a 24 volt platform, you would need to series 2 - 100 watt solar Read More

It should? The variables are how much sunlight you receive. 2 - 12V batteries is safe, 3 may take longer than 7-8 hours. With that said, if they are not discharged over 50% of capacity, you should be good to go. Hope this helps?

Thank you for your interest in Grape Solar panels. There are a number of factors that play into whether a 100-watt panel will meet your expectations but in short, yes, a single GS-STAR-100W can charge 12 volt batteries if they are wired in parallel to create a 12 volt battery bank. For higher voltage battery banks you will need multiple 100-watt panels wired in series.
While it depends upon your exact geographic location and orientation of the panel, a single 100 watt panel will produce roughly 25-AmpHours per day. Depending upon the size of your batteries and how much power you plan on using per day, you may need multiple panels to keep your batteries topped off.
In order to prevent damage to the battery you should have a charge controller between it and your panel. If you don't have a charge controller already, you may wish to look at our 100-series kits which come with 100-watt panels, charge controllers, wires and, in most cases, inverters to get you up and running quickly. For those, you would need 200 to 250 Kilo watt hours per month so let's calculate 250 Kilo Watt hours. 250,000 watt hours / 30 days = 6,033 Watt hours per day. Since one 100 watt panel will produce an average of 450 Watt hours per day 6,033 / 450 = about 14 - 100 watt panels and with 2 Amp hours per watt for Battery overnight usage, you would need 2,800 Amp hours of deep cycle battery storage. (24 - 115 Amp hour Batteries# You would also need 3 - 500 watt Charge controlers. Since i also have air conditioning, I use 3,200 watts of Solar panels and 6,400 amp hours of Deep Cycle 12 volt batteries and 7- 500 watt charge controlers. You will not be able to Air condition more than Two rooms with this small system that I use and when the days are shorter in the winter, you get about 1/2 the power but you also do not need air conditioning.
If you are "On-Grid" look at your utility meter bill for the Kilowatt hours used each month and divide buy 13.5 #.450X30) to get the number of panels you would need to be equivilant to what you use. Then you would need Grid tie Inverters or Micro inverters and it would be best to consult a licenced Solar installer to get you through the permit prosses from your city.

The solar panel wires can be adapted using the round automotive push on connectors crinped to #12 AWG copper wire. Make sure you tape up and water proof the conection so that there is no corosion. Then the copper wires can be spliced together using "Scotch locks" or "Wire nuts" and then the current from the spliced panels can be taken with larger copper wires to a "Solar Charge Controler" that will automaticly monitor and feed your 12 volt batteries. There are special Solar combiner 4 to 1 adapters but they do not increase the wire size on the single outgoing conductor so it can be undersized for the Grape 100 watt panels and should only be used with the Grape 50 Watt panels. Since Grape Solar panels need a 10 amp fuse going to each one, an automotive, watertight, blade type fuze holder with a 10 amp fuze, in line to each panel, should be installed before going to any combiner. Since the comectors. that come with the panels, are Solar Standard, they should not be cut off because they will be handy if you ever want to adapt them later for "on grid" use with micro inverters. Combining two 100 Watt Grape Solar panels to create the nessessary 36 volts to run an Ephase micro inverter is very simple since they all just plug in. Read Less

No, those pumps are generally above 1 HP and are not generally feasible to power with off-grid solar. It is more cost-effective to use a grid-tied system to offset your utility bill.

For the price, these panels produce much more power ($/watt) and are much more solidly built. They are easy to mount and connect. The first panel was basically thrown into a box with little protection for shipment, but the second panel came in more protective packaging. Neither panel, however, arrived damaged. I have them paired (in series) with the Grape Solar 300W MPPT controller, also sold by Home Depot, to keep a small bank of 12V batteries charged - see pics. (Note: I can put them in series because the controller is MPPT.) Works wonderfully. August 13, 2016

They charge a little on a cloudy day. The way I have them mounted, all 4 sets of wires come together in a beaker box. I cut the connectors off. This panel uses standard MC4 solar connectors, making it easy to join up in series or parallel (with an adaptor) I tested the panel with a voltmeter and wattmeter on arrival and both matched or slightly exceeded the specifications.
