Customer Questions & Answers

how does the modle # gs-7000 kit stand upto snow?

Asked by: Anonymous
Hi Cobra, Thank you for your interest in Grape Solar kits. The Grape Solar GS-S-250-Fab5 solar panel used in this kit has a frame design that can withstand at least 50 lbs per square foot. Except under extreme conditions, most solar panels will do an adequate job of melting snow that lands on them during the day. If it snows overnight, it may be necessary to knock the snow off of the panel in the morning to get the panels operating again.
