How is it installed in the drawers?

e.g. magnetic, adhesive?, friction?, [bottom & sides] or [bottom only]?

Is the liner material cleanable with soap and water?

How thick is the liner?

How does one cut the liner to fit? [If the liner material were specified, would you get fewer questions?

Answer:
The liner sticks by friction. I think it's intended for bottom-only installation, so I wouldn't think it would work well for sides - too much bunching up in the corners.
Not sure about clean-up. This liner doesn't attract dust or pet fur or any kind of normal household dirt. I think it could be easily vacuumed up with a shop vac. Not sure what to say about soap and water. Personally, I'm not sure I Read More

Thickness is about 1/16 of an inch - perhaps a bit more. The liner squishes down when you cut it, so it's quite a bit thinner when cutting than when looking at it.
You can cut the liner with cheap kitchen scissors. I did one cut that way, but my hand got a little tired. I opted for a razor knife. Read Less

You simply cut it with scissors or a utility knife to fit the bottom of the drawer. It sticks by friction, so you could not use it as-is for the sides - it would just fall off. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hide it from your wife!!! I found this product on HD's website and bought a roll to line my roll-a-way tool chest drawers with. During the process I took a short break and when I came back to the garage the balance of the roll was gone! After searching the garage in vain and thinking I must be crazy, I walked into the kitchen to see the roll on the kitchen counter and my wife merrily cutting away pieces to fit the kitchen drawers. She loves this fabric. Cutlery holders and other things that used to slide around in the drawers now stay in place very nicely. Sliding shelves come out with everything just where you left them. So please do order this product but get an extra roll for the kitchen. It beats the heck out of that thin stick on stuff that always wrinkles and the print wears off quickly. She even likes the black color. Go figure. July 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Professional quality I used this in my professional tool cabinets and am very happy. Replaced my very old and original Mac linings and this product was identical. Thin. Sticky. Soft. And the roll is really enough to do 2 full sets of drawers. April 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product This stuff is GREAT! 1 roll did my whole tool box with a little left over. Tools stay in place and liner dose not scoot around. Will be buying another roll for the rest of my tool boxes. February 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best liner I have ever used This is the best tool box liner that I have ever used. It keeps tools in place when chest is moved and wipes down easily if you spill something. February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent tool chest drawer liner The drawer lining was well made and appears quite durable and gives excellent "sticky" traction keeping even heavy tools in place when opening and closing drawers. The material cuts easily for fitting using a square and bladed knife. A good addition to my new tool chest. I also added it to my older chest with the only regret I didn't add it years ago. Probably wasn't available then. January 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This product is the best value I could find, anywhere!! It is very easy to work with, lays down great in the drawers. It is very sticky so your tools are NOT going to move. Not as thick as I thought it would be but it works fine. You wont find a better value as anything else you buy is $12.00 to $20.00 a roll and barely does a drawer and a half. This stuff did 8-10 drawers and I have some left. NO BETTER VALUE!! I looked everywhere.. March 6, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Truly a Premium Product! This roll of drawer liner is easily worth twice its cost. It comes as a continuous roll (at least mine did - I've heard others say their roll was not continuous) of some kind of unusual material - sort of a slightly stretchy, solid plastic (polymer?) fabric The material really isn't like anything I've ever seen. It's definitely not thick or dense (like rubber), as you can cut it with regular kitchen scissors, but it's definitely not paper-thin either. Once unrolled, you can use a T-square and a pencil to get your measurements right. I used a razor knife to make my cuts because that was faster than using scissors, but I tested the scissors and they worked fine - just a little tedious. Fitting the cut sheets into the drawers wasn't difficult, but the product definitely has a unique stickiness to it. Once you lay it down, it wants to stay in place, so you can't make minor tweaks to get it aligned with drawer corners or edges. You have to lift the entire sheet and re-position it. One particular drawer on my cabinet must have been slightly off, because it took about 10 re-positionings to get the liner in place. But over-touching the liner didn't seem to have any effect on it, nor did the liner attract pet fur, dust, or general house dirt. One of the really great things about this liner is that it's non-directional. It works exactly the same horizontally as it does vertically. That means you can line shorter drawers using the product on the short side, instead of using the long side and having a lot of selvage to throw away. I highly recommend this product and am very pleased/impressed with my purchase. December 22, 2015
