How is it installed in the drawers?

e.g. magnetic, adhesive?, friction?, [bottom & sides] or [bottom only]?

Is the liner material cleanable with soap and water?

How thick is the liner?

How does one cut the liner to fit? [If the liner material were specified, would you get fewer questions?

Answer:
The liner sticks by friction. I think it's intended for bottom-only installation, so I wouldn't think it would work well for sides - too much bunching up in the corners.
Not sure about clean-up. This liner doesn't attract dust or pet fur or any kind of normal household dirt. I think it could be easily vacuumed up with a shop vac. Not sure what to say about soap and water. Personally, I'm not sure I Read More

Not sure what to say about soap and water. Personally, I'm not sure I would go about cleaning the liner this way, as I don't know if the soap might degrade the product.
Thickness is about 1/16 of an inch - perhaps a bit more. The liner squishes down when you cut it, so it's quite a bit thinner when cutting than when looking at it.
You can cut the liner with cheap kitchen scissors. I did one cut that way, but my hand got a little tired. I opted for a razor knife. Read Less

You simply cut it with scissors or a utility knife to fit the bottom of the drawer. It sticks by friction, so you could not use it as-is for the sides - it would just fall off. The material is 1/8 thick vinyl; it is soft and supple like a thick cloth, not stiff, and somewhat stretchy. It's construction is a foam core with a smooth surface. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome First off, this is a huge roll! I just picked up a 9 drawer tool cabinet from Home Depot, and wanted to add drawer liners. After lining all the drawers, I still had a ton left. I bought this based on the reviews - and I wasn't disappointed! The material is about 3/32 in thick, which seems thin, but that's actually good because it gives you maximum space in the drawers. I was able to put my impact wrenches in the medium-height drawers, but with a thick pad it would not have fit. It's got a weird tackiness that holds tools in place, not sticky, but just super grippy. Tools just don't move, even if you slam the drawers. It also dampens the noise from the sheet metal. Installation was easy, just cut and place. One thing that helped me was to use a cardboard template; I used a clean full size piece of cardboard, placed on top of the liner, and then cut around that with a super sharp knife. The cardboard helps to keep the material from stretching when it is being cut, and you end up with nice square sides.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hide it from your wife!!! I found this product on HD's website and bought a roll to line my roll-a-way tool chest drawers with. During the process I took a short break and when I came back to the garage the balance of the roll was gone! After searching the garage in vain and thinking I must be crazy, I walked into the kitchen to see the roll on the kitchen counter and my wife merrily cutting away pieces to fit the kitchen drawers. She loves this fabric. Cutlery holders and other things that used to slide around in the drawers now stay in place very nicely. Sliding shelves come out with everything just where you left them. So please do order this product but get an extra roll for the kitchen. It beats the heck out of that thin stick on stuff that always wrinkles and the print wears off quickly. She even likes the black color. Go figure.
