Designer alert!! This is a beauty to look at and use. Dark green enameled reel, sharp blades, smooth operation, easy to put together- perfect if you value style AND function. AND it's made in USA!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pawholder Great mower but handle instructions were off!
I'm a 54 y.o. woman who follows instructions as written cause I'm not that great at putting things together. The instructions say to screw handles together before attaching to mower. Do not tighten screws all the way until you attach to mower or you won't get it on. Don't know why the instructions don't say it cause I was stumped as to why I couldn't attach! Searched the Internet for a visual or some sort of help, found nothing. Finally figured it out and started mowing my 5" tall grass....love it! My yard is flat with no rocks or twigs. So I'm happy for now.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tim Great item
This unit was easy to assemble. Using it was awesome. After a few times I got the knack of right height to have the handle to keep the catcher from coming off. I actually enjoyed using this item. I am 68 yr male, average height and weight. Brought back lots of memories when I was a kid.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by october1055 Great for camp!
Received this minus one of the handles. Called the phone number provided and they sent one out immediately. Easy to put together. Cuts grass very well. Just need to make sure to rake first to get rid of pine cones and sticks, which will get stuck in the blades. As others have mentioned, it doesn't really do weeds - just sort of knocks them down temporarily. Works great for our little patch of grass at our camp.

Very easy to assemble. I was surprised how fast the blades moved. If you cut your lawn every 2-3 weeks you will have no issues. If you wait for your grass to grow long, it will take you 3-4 pass overs to get the job done. Perfect mower for small lawns

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Raven Easy to push for an old lady
Most people these days have the gas or electric powered lawn mowers. This was not going to work for me as my yard has alot of roots half above ground. It was much easier to just do the push lawn mower and not worry about breaking the blades or drive shaft. My yard is not huge so I'm good in what I chose under my circumstances.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by SoreSam Worst purchase I have made in a long time
My shoulder takes nearly a week to recover every time I use this mower, but as it is the only mower I have now I feel I have no choice except to use it. When I push it through the grass I end up using all my strength to try and keep it moving forward. If I place all my weight on it and push it forward it will keep going but the blades stop moving. I am probably around average height and weight for a man of my age. I am not a body builder but I am not weak either. My previous reel mower, which was heavier, did not take as much effort and it was 5 years old and starting to seize up. At least it had a presumably more durable gear for driving the blades. This model has a plastic gear and I am convinced it will strip in the near future. I seriously wish I had kept my old mower now.
