Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jen6234 Generally happy; good buy
I'm satisfied with this purchase. I have a dark brick house, and our old black fixture blended in and looked really dated. I had only two criteria for a lantern to replace it with: white & dusk-to-dawn. Seems like there should be a ton of options, right? Not the case. I searched numerous stores and sites and found a grand total of two dusk-to-dawn lanterns that come in white (both right here at Home Depot). So while I'm generally happy with this light, the lack of options is still disappointing. It's a little small, as others have said, and it doesn't take a standard screw-in light bulb, but a GU style. It's worth noting that when I opened the box, the fixture looked off-white, more of a cream. But once I took it outside, it looked white. So don't be deterred you if you open the box and think it's the wrong color. The frosted glass looks really nice, but you have to piece it together yourself (which isn't difficult, just seemed unnecessary to ship it unassembled). The whole fixture is closed off enough so that bugs can't get in. Overall very satisfied with this light.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Uniontown99 Ok Product So far....
I bought these two years ago and have them on my front and back doors, they have preformed well. Turn on and off by themselves. I have gone thru two bulbs each, considering the amount of time they are on Im ok with it. Im going to get another for my garage door light

Easy to install. Construction is a little cheap, but about what I expected for the price paid. Looks good and provides good, even light. I really wanted the dusk-til-dawn light feature.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by AO Dusk to dawn is great
The light was smaller than what I was expecting. Also, I missed in the description that the black finish has shiny black splatter which looks like water droplets. Not a big deal since you really dont end up seeing it once they are up. Other than that the dusk to dawn has been working great and it was easy enough to instal

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jerry65 Very happy with purchase
There was some assembly but nothing too complicated. Easy to install. One thing I didn't notice on the picture of the product is that there is glossy flecks on the fixture. Not a big deal to me. Still looks great. Light is nice and bright and matches the lighting of my other older incandescent fixture

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jim Great product at a great price
The lights were easy to assemble/install just a bit time consuming because you had to put each glass pane in yourself. They work perfectly by turning on and off when they're supposed to, and they're pretty bright which is exactly what I wanted. My electrical skills are basic, but I was able to install five lights in no time and without any problems. If I needed more outdoor lights, I would definitely buy these again - especially for the price.

The light is nice and bright and the auto on-off feature works great. This is exactly what we needed. The light looks nice too. Assembly is required, but it was easy to do.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by BiotechGeek Good Light But Not a Good Experience
My wife and I decided to buy 4 lights. Three wall mountable lights and 1 post light. The ones we had were falling apart and the wiring was dangerous. Took some time to assemble these as each glass pane has to be installed and a couple of other pieces need to be fitted before mounting them. You have to be careful with the panes as the mounting hardware can and will chip the frosted glass under even the slightest amount of pressure. I found it best to hold the brass prong so it didn't rotate into the glass. No big deal after I figured that out. One of the CFLs was shattered so I was down to three of four. Mounted the lights on either side of the garage. No problem. They looked great. Mounted the light at the porch, again, no problem, looked great. Switched them on, tested the sensors (still some daylight out so I covered the sensors with my finger), the garage ones worked great, but it was a "no go" for the porch light. As the sun was going down, I took the porch light back off the house expecting that a wire came out of one of the wiring nuts. Nope. My wiring was still good. At that point, I remounted the light and took the frosted glass section off. Examined the bulb and it looked good. Took it out and put it back in. Still nothing (its now dark out and the garage lights came on automatically - another successful test of those two). Took the bottom frosted glass section off one of the garage lights, took its bulb, and installed that bulb in the porch light. Perfect - the light came right on, so the bulb that came with that light was also bad. My recommendation for buying these is that the fixture is great, but you might want to buy the replacement bulbs at the same time because the ones they supply are garbage (at least 50% of the time in my case). I have yet to install the post light because my current one still works, but its an E26 socket instead of a GU24 and I need to swing by the store to pick up some replacement bulbs so I don't install fixtures without a bulb. I already have one that doesn't work - I don't need to make it two. So, the entire experience was a hassle, but if I would have received good bulbs as expected and as promised by the manufacturer and package labeling, it would have been about as good as anyone could expect. I would still buy these lights, but I would buy my replacement bulbs at the same time. I don't really care about the cost but I'm going to talk about it anyway because someone who reads this might care. Per the online home depot website, a 6 pack runs about $19 at my local home depot (after local sales tax), so I'm out a little over $6 because the vendor provided broken/non-functional bulbs. (Only ~2.5% of the overall cost of all 4 fixtures.) Not worth my time to try to get free replacements, but if you do care about the extra money, consider this your warning.
