Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Cheap Machine; you get what you pay for Belt and pulley failed after 3rd or 4th use, while doing some yard shredding. Replaced the belt and pulley and now the motor shaft broke off. I do not recommend this product. November 12, 2011
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by This was alot smaller than I exected, but good for the money Not for country living..... I, for some reason, expected a bigger mouth on this creature, but it will serve the purpose all the same, just with a bit more time. I was hoping for a monster, and a monster it is not. I have two acres of woods I was hoping to clean up and based on previous reviews I thought it would do the job, but as it turns out, I am going to be happy with getting our immediate yard cleaned up of small twigs and VERY small branch debris. Clean up after a large storm bringing down medium size branches will not work with this model. If you have more than a city yard, this machine will never do. But if you just want to chew the small twigs up out of your yard and reuse them, this just might be for you. June 12, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I'm very pleased with this chipper/shredder I purchased this electric chipper/shredder after considering a gas powered unit. I chose the electric unit because it is lighter in weight and easy to move around. I have seasonal trimmings from crepe myrtle trees and it easily handles them. I use the mulch produced in my flower beds and that saves purchasing new mulch every year. My only recommendation would be to take your time and don't overload this chipper/shredder and you will have good results. January 18, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not exactly what I needed The machine works great HOWEVER - the opening is thin at the top and will get clogged easily. It has a tough time with items that were not completely dry. OK for small twigs ! November 29, 2011
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not a workhorse. This product is very disappointing. You can only do one small stick at a time that is fed through a heavy rubber shield. It must hit the blades at the right angle or the sticks get stuck and you can't pull them back out.The chips also shoot out the sides, so be sure to wear pants and glasses. It might be ok if I have a pile of clean sticks and all day to mulch them. Definitely not worth the money. May 23, 2013
