CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I Love this Thing I have 2 - 4 AH batteries which is nice, I can cut ash or soft maple 14-16 inches in diameter for ~25 minutes per battery so don't sell your gas saw if you are a professional or cut large amounts of wood. Smaller stuff and the battery lasts quite a bit longer. I probably have cut 2 full cords that I burned this winter solely with this saw including dropping a couple of ash trees well over 16" in diameter. It is light weight and easy to use, love that I let off the trigger and it stops and just push in the safety interlock and pull the trigger and I am cutting again. No pulling it over, or dealing with mixing gas and oil. It is a lot quieter than my gas saw. A couple of things I learned is let the chain do the work, if you hoarse the saw the battery will not last as long and stall. The Oregon replacement chains are not as efficient as the original that comes with the saw and will stall if to much pressure is applied. There is some loss of battery life as well but nothing that I can quantify. Don't over tighten the chain, again this will lead to a stalled condtion when it should not. Pull the cover to clean the sawdust from the oiler occassionally. Prepare to be laughed at, when I brought this to my camp I got my chops busted pretty good until I went into the woods and in no time brought back over a facecord of ash that had been killed by ash borers. I didn't convert anybody but they weren't busting my chops either. I didn't give it 5 stars only because the initial cost and the issue I have with the Oregon replacement chains causing the saw to stall. March 23, 2016
