will this work in a 28 deg nail gun

I know that 30 deg will work in 28 deg gun but this is 30 to 33 will this work in a 28 deg nail gun
Asked by: samf1
These joist hanger nails will not work in your typical 28 degree gun. Keep in mind, the "degree" refers more to the collation material than the degree of the nail. Typically, 28 degree guns use a wire collated stick of nails, while the 30-33 degree guns use a paper collated nail. Please be sure to check which collation material your nailer will accept before purchasing fasteners for it. Thank you for your question, and have a great day!

HI Dfonz, These nails are are too long and have too small a head for roofing. You must use roofing nails, which are much shorter and have a much larger head. Mike
