Customer Reviews

Rated 1.0 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Every single nail bent I love HD for almost everything, but I am VERY disappointed in these nails. In the middle of a framing project I ran out of 16D 3-1/4" nails. I purchased 3-1/2" at HD and every single one bent. I drilled pilots (crazy, I know) for a few, and they still bent. Worthless. Time wasted. HD, please take a look at the quality of these as you have usually been my GOTO store. May 22, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cheap nails, bend easily Nails were thin and cheaply made compared to other nails I had left over from another project. Over half of these nails bent. I returned and would not buy again. May 22, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Weak nails, waste of time I got a 30 pound box of these Grip Rite nails after using up a 5 lb box of Simpson nails in an hour - I thought I'd save myself a few trips to the store, and I knew they were less expensive as well. They are thinner and have a thinner galvanized coating than the Simpson nails. Over 50% of these nails bent for me, driven straight into knot-free hemlock. The nuisance of pulling out bent nails half the time and throwing them away isn't worth the cost savings. I will stick with the Simpson nails from now on - these ones are junk. June 15, 2013
