I used them to put together a new raised bed with treated lumber and galvanized roofing. Being exterior rated deck screws they should last a long time. They drove well and had a good deep Phillips head for minimal slip when driving them with a impact driver. I used these screws in pocket holes to create very snug joints. Great component for completing the raised bed project. See Pic.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bugle-Head Shreds Easily with Electric Driver/Drill! Bought these screws to assemble cedar wood raised bed. Unless you pre-drill all your very many holes, you are bound to shred the bugle head on these screws! They cannot stand up to the high torque needed to drill the screws into hard wood.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The screw heads stripped easily Whether driving the screws manually with a screw driver, or with assistance like a drill or impact driver, the heads stripped out at least 3 times out of 10. With a 30% failure rate, my 5 lb of screws effectively became 3.5 lbs. and the additional time taken to replace stripped screws was unreasonable waste of time and money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great screws if used properly I have used at least 30lbs of these screws. If used properly they are great! First use with a Phillips bit that is NOT worn down. I regularly replace my bits. Second use with a proper drive such as a 18+ volt machine. Use with anything less and you will NOT have the power to drive them in. Third is to drill pilot holes if screwing into southern yellow pine (SYP).
