Product Overview

Do yourself a favor and stop swinging that hammer in tight spaces. The small but powerful GRTMP16 will reach almost anywhere and drives up to a 3-1/2 in. 16d nail. It features a magnetic nose to hold the fastener in place and allow users a free hand while working. When the engineers at Grip-Rite asked professionals how to improve their palm-sized air nailers, they all said the same thing. They wanted a smaller tool. So, Grip-Rite created a tool that fits the most common applications at a third of the size and weight. After one use, you will wonder how you ever lived without this innovative tool. The Grip Rite Mini Palm-Sized Air Nailer is a fraction of the size and weight of a regular palm nailer, yet still stands up to professional use. The tool is designed to handle a vast majority of applications without the added bulk and weight of other palm sized air nailers. Grip-Rite stands behind all of their products with a network of service centers and a 12-month warranty. Also included with the purchase of this tool: All Required Hex Wrenches, tool Oil and a male air plug.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hits the nail on the head Had a ton of joist clips to install for a deck. Just the right size to shoot teco nails. The magnet holds the tecos while you maneuver it into the bracket. Saved a ton of time over bruised fingers and tight nailing space. May 7, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great for light use, lighter than a full size palm nailer Great palm nailer for light use. Lightweight and easy to use. Just not as durable as expected. If you are working on decks or shear walls, driving a lot of nails with a lightweight tool is welcome. Not as strong when driving 12d and 16d nails. After 15 lbs of 8d and 10d nails (coated sinkers), the Senco pneumatic stopped working. Obvious a job for a true nail gun, but thought I'd provide a perspective here on durability. Still - I'd recommend it. February 22, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Handy tool While it works best with full headed nails, you can use it to drive brads and finishing nails. The key to driving small nails is to use lower air pressure. This tends to slow down both the force and frequency of the blows, giving you more control. On the other hand, if you are driving spikes, you want to use the high end of the pressure range. It is great when you are nailing up headers where you have to cut out a floor joist. I have had to get into tight places when cleaning up after someone relocated the basement stairway. Owning a 100+ year old home is interesting, but provides some unique challenges. This air nailer has saved the day when pipes, wiring, and ductwork prevent using a normal nailer, or even a hammer, One of the nice things is that my 2 gallon pancake compressor can keep up with the air requirements easily with the way I use it. So far, if the compressor will handle a brad nailer, it will handle this nailer as well. January 23, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great value This nailer does take a bit longer to drive nails than a regular palm nailer but it is small enough that you can keep it in your toolbelt which makes it super convenient. December 20, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good palm nailer for the money Drives nails without any problems. Does have some difficulty with small brad nails sliding between the sleeve & the hammering mechanism. Works great. June 4, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good little nailer Works great for tight spots, reliable, powerful and a great deal at thirty dollars if you can get it that cheap. December 17, 2010
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome This tool was a great time saver! The only issue was my air compressor couldn't keep up. It even works in the snow!! December 20, 2011
