    Unprotected in Mailing Box
The package box wasn’t damaged, but the plastic box container my nails were in was all busted up. Loose nails were everywhere in the box. Im not going to becabke to carry the nail box around as is unless i put them inside another box because nails are already falling out from the busted up side. The lid was detached from the container box as well. There was no protection for my items that came together. I could have lost nails from this much damage inside. Im not pleased with this shipment. Is there not any bubble wrap handy lying around? My items could have sure used some, especially fir the weight of this package.

Oh my God! These screws just may be the greatest investment I’ve made thus far in my life! If you don’t buy these? You’re a MANIAC, but you MUST get the 2 1/2 see? That’s the key to the whole thing. -If this helps just ONE PERSON, then my job is done. Good luck & be safe!

      Some predrilling required.
The Grip Rite fasteners are pretty cool to use and to have. They come in different sizes and I really like the way they work into any kind of drywall. The box will not come with a complementary # 2 Phillips bit. If you are planning to fasten in these into metal studs, you’ll need to be sure you’ve got a pretty good drill that will apply some force to penetrate. Otherwise with a standard drill, you’ll need to pre-drill with 1/8 inch bit to start and it’ll fasten quite nicely. The box says you get 47 screws. Do not use with treated wood with this size in any size that you choose to buy. I gave it a 4 star rating because it is a chore drilling into wood in 1930 and 1940 homes.

The Grip Rite fasteners are pretty cool to use and to have. They come in different sizes and I really like the way they work into any kind of drywall. The box will not come with a complementary # 2 Philips bit. The box says you get 238 screws. Do not use with treated wood with this size or any size that you choose to buy. I love this stuff and I’m glad to give it a five star rating because it is well worth better than five stars.

      Good product
I have had these drywall screws for almost 4 years now and I have really liked using them. They bite good into the drywall and they accept a phillips head bit just fine. I've used these multiple times with no problems for home projects. These have met my expectations and I have not found anything I dislike about them.

I was working on a project building shelves out of pallets. I bought some brackets but all the screws I had were either too long or too short to attach the wood to them. I specifically needed 1" screws and HD was the only place that had them readily available. They're strong too. They're perfect for projects involving thin pallet planks. Just make sure you pre drill.
