Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Easily bent nails I bought these to frame a kneewall for a closet and suffice it to say that these did not work for me at all. As some of the other posts said, these nails bend very easily. I tried several of them and each one did not drive through the 2x4s without bending/snaking through the wood. Will be using another product. March 24, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Are these the best Chinese steel HD can buy? I ran out of 16D nails I got for a building project and dropped by my local HD store to pick up some nails. These are the softest steel nails I have ever used. I can bend them with my fingers and for every one that worked I had one or two that failed. I was nailing through white fir, which is soft, and they still bent. Last time I spend money on nails from HD. I sure like most everything I get there but these were the exception. The box states, down in the very fine print *Made in China*. Need I say more. December 10, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst 16p Nails I have ever used. I have worked as a carpenter (ie framer) before so I know how to use a hammer. These nails bent for every hole I punched one into. Many times I bent one, removed it, started using another one and it would take 3 to 4 nails to finish the 1. This maybe because everyone uses nail guns today. I started using ones purchased for a nail gun, and they worked beautifully. These did not and I cannot recommend them in any shape or form. April 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best I have ever purchased They don't bend and they are long enough to keep the boards together. May 14, 2013
