Product Overview

Groovy Comfortable Wood Grain Mats have the look of hardwood but are soft, comfortable, lightweight and portable. They are made of the same material as a flip-flop or the insole of an athletic shoe. PLEASE NOTE Pets, high heels, and abrasive materials will scratch, puncture or cut the surface. Socks and clean shoes (free of any stones or debris) are the only way to prevent damage to the surface. They can be used anywhere you want a soft or safe floor such as exercise areas, play rooms, basements, bedrooms and much more. Not recommended for outdoor use as they will fade in the sun. You can create any size area for any space in minutes.

What are the materials used in the making of these tiles? I'm allergic to latex, but not plastics.

Many products that say they are 'rubber', or 'rubber-like' are actually a type of vinyl or silicone, etc. Those don't bother me - it's just specifically rubber or rubber-based or mixed rubber/plastic that bother me. How much do these tiles smell? I need to avoid out-gassing of any man-made material, and would like to know how well these wear: I'm looking for something to cover my kitchen floor for clean-up and cushioning. I'd rather get a covering for the whole floor rather than an anti-fatigue rug pad thingie as they are tripping hazards, even with their beveled edges. The tiles look like they could be fit/cut to go a bit under appliances, cabinet bases, etc. I'd like to find a product that'd work in both my kitchen and garage workshop for a continuous look....Thank you!
