Product Overview

Groovy Comfortable Mats are soft, comfortable, lightweight and portable. They are made of the same material as a flip-flop or the insole of an athletic shoe. PLEASE NOTE Pets, high heels, and abrasive materials will scratch, puncture or cut the surface. Socks and clean shoes (free of any stones or debris) are the only way to prevent damage to the surface. They can be used anywhere you want a soft or safe floor such as exercise areas, play rooms, basements, bedrooms and much more. Not recommended for outdoor use as they will fade in the sun. You can create any size area for any space in minutes.

Customer Questions & Answers

Foam or Rubber?

I am interested in buying these mats because I want to use them for a home gym. I like the options of colors available and different levels of thickness. I know the specs say rubber but everywhere else I look for interlocking mats they say the mats are made out of EVA foam. This concerns me as my free weights would be rough on the mats and I need something kind of heavy and definitely sturdy. So I'd like to know if they are thick rubber flooring or foam flooring.

It is waterproof but it will fade in the sun The material is the same as an athletic shoe or a Flip Flop so it will indent with pressure or weight

Would you recommend laying this over carpet or ripping the carpet up and laying on bare floors?

Asked by: Randi
If the carpet is really thin (high traffic) it might work, otherwise the pieces won't fit together well and may shift.
