I originallly bought this to clean the grout the sorely neglected tile grout in a home I recently moved into. I did a lot of research, read a lot of reviews, and decided on this one because of the versatility to clean the grout and then maintain the floor....well talk about simple and amazing results! I quickly developed a love-hate relationship....I love what this thing can do...I hate that I keep finding things to use it on....I need a break from cleaning! I used it to detail my truck interior...my 15 year old truck looks almost brand new! I haven't tried all the attachments but I'm sure I will find a use for them. Because of previous reviews, I didn't try attaching the attachments to the back & quite honestly I switch between mop and portable so much, I think it would get in the way. I have used it as a mop and am continuously amazed at how clean my floors get and the cord is plenty long...it would be super nice if it was retractable. Holding the steam button is not an issue and as much steam as it produces, it's probably a good thing the steam turns off to avoid getting burned. I would definitely recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Victor 2-in-1 Steam Cleaner that does its job
The Gruene steam clean mop comes with a lot of accessories apart from the primary floor mop. Itâs like having two separate equipments (Steam floor mop+ Steam cleaner) at the price of one. There is a custom measuring vessel for adding the water which takes about two rounds to fill the tank. The water tank is also detachable in case you need to fill it from the sink directly. Installation was easy for the floor mop part. However, it was not that easy for the accessories. This was because of the instructions manual, which is a bit hard to interpret for the beginners, not fully detailed and a bit too short at times. The first thing I had to figure out was how to attach the various cleaning accessories. For this you need to remove the steam cleaner from the main assembly (have shown in the photos). Only then you will be able to use the various attachments. For using the different brushes you need to attach the cone shaped adapter first and then the brushes. There is also an extension pipe for going through hard to reach places.
For a week that I used the product the performance has been absolutely fantastic. For its primary function i.e floor cleaning it did a remarkable job like the other well known cleaners both on the hardwood as well as the tiles. The good thing about this cleaner is you donât have to buy proprietary cleaning pads like the other cleaners, you can simply attach a towel or a cloth piece and itâs done. I also tried cleaning my cloth sofa with the fabric attachment and it did a good job of removing water stains as well as getting rid of the odor. Other than that it easily cleaned the grime on bathroom tiles and windows, removed grease from the oven, cleaned bathtub, sink, baseboard heaters, gas stove, trashcans, mattresses and window glasses (and many more if not less). I found that apart from cleaning it can also be used to remove wrinkles from your clothes. The only major con I found was lack of turbo switch for steam cleaner which means you have to push the switch as long as you have get the steam. This is a bit inconvenient when you need both of your hands to move objects while cleaning.
Overall I would definitely recommend this product. No need for chemicals, easy to maintain and no proprietary replacement pads.

This steam cleaner is the best option for cleaning tile floors, period.
The tile floor in the corner of our breakfast nook was getting pretty dirty. We had super-deep cleaned it when we moved in, but in the past year or so we had only used a mop on it. This particular bit of floor is the perfect storm for being impossible to keep clean. The tile has all sorts of texture that I'm pretty sure was designed to collect dirt. The grout isn't sealed. Our dog's food and water bowl resides in this particular corner, and she's fond of leaving puddles of drool on the floor while she's waiting for her dinner. I think I can actually hear the tile laughing at the mop's feeble attempts at scrubbing dirt out of its nooks and crannies.
The last time we deep-cleaned this tile, we used spray-gel bleach and a scrub brush on our hands and knees. It took the better part of a weekend, and we had to leave the doors and windows open to air out the house. We also had to rinse the floor afterwards to get any bleach remnants off of it. This steam cleaner makes the whole process so much easier. I had been thinking about trying one for a while, and now I don't know why I waited for so long.
I started by trying the mop feature and the included mop pad. Just fill up the water reservoir, plug in the cleaner, wait for about a minute and it's ready to go. Mopping worked pretty well, but the pad was filled with dirt fairly quickly. One of the really nice features this steam cleaner has is the ability to use regular rags or cloths as the sweeper pad. I grabbed some shop towels, switched them out with the mop pad, and kept going. I could tell the mop was cleaning, but it wasn't really getting ALL the dirt out of the tile's texture. So I switched to the hand-held configuration and used the steamer nozzle with the larger brush attachment directly on the tile. WOW! The dirt practically melted off of the floor (see videos). For the grout line, I took the brush attachment off and just used the nozzle. Even without touching the floor, I could still see the dirt coming off, leaving only the clean grout behind.
The mop comes with a ton of attachments, including 3 different types of brushes, a squeegee, both a straight and an angled nozzle, a scraper, and a fabric steaming tool. The only thing that I could think of to add would be a rigid extension wand so I could clean the floors with the nozzle or brush while standing up.
I know I sound like I'm raving on and on about this thing, but it's only because it's that awesome. If I had had the chance to try this steam cleaner for just an hour, I would have gone out and bought one immediately afterwards.

I really like this steamer and feel others pale in comparison. There are many attachments to chose from which makes this steamer extremely easy to use. For first use I steamed my hard wood floors as well as the cracks and crevices between my counter tops. Both the floors and counters came out great! The floors looked shiny and clean, and all the crumbs and remnants of food were gone in a snap. Steaming the floors took a little extra muscle but it was worth it. Also the price is right. I would definitely recommend this product.
Next appliance to steam is going to be my oven! This steamer can clean anything!!!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by MarilynB Good value on a multi option steamer!
This is my first experience with a steamer, and I am impressed with the idea of cleaning and disinfecting without chemicals. It is so convenient to have one that not only does floors, but converts to a handheld unit. One great thing I like is that it is easy to attach your own towels to the bottom for doing the floors. The storage tray to sit it on after use is a nice feature. It was easy to assemble and it took only seconds for the ready light to turn on.
The instructions are very basic, I would have liked to see a little more information for first-time users, such as how to steam certain items. There are plenty of attachments, but I wish they would have given a novice some hints on how they should be used.
I have experimented with cleaning chores and am pleased with this steamer. It did my floors beautifully. I've disinfected my trash cans, sink, drains, toothbrushes and tub (I was hoping it would remove the hard water stains on the fiberglass shower, but it did not). It worked well on my grills and toaster oven racks. The textured front of my refrigerator is now sparkling clean in those grooves! I've also found that it is great for cleaning diamond jewelry. I'm still learning that there is much more that can be done with this steamer and look forward to trying new jobs with it.
One negative point for me was that when using the handheld, it's a bit awkward to try to hold the unit and the trigger while controlling the attachment with the other hand. My old finger got very tired, and an on/off switch would have been terrific instead. The trigger handle on the floor option is much easier to hold in while steaming.
This is a good steamer in its price range. As it is not a high-temp vapor steamer, it will leave water behind which I believe is normal.
